Apple TV has officially revealed the gripping trailer for “Last Seen,” an upcoming Australian thrill-ride anchored by Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall. Adapted from Ryan David Jahn’s Award-winning novel The Dispatcher, the series is produced by 60Forty Films.
Acclaimed writer Kris Mrksa adapted the novel for television, with Emmy-nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow directing and executive producing. Fans will not have to wait long for the mystery to unfold. The thriller makes its global debut on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. It launches with episodes followed by weekly releases through October 7.
A Tragic Past Collides with an Unexpected Lifeline
The emotionally charged narrative centers on police detective Ian Ridley. The detective’s world was shattered eleven years ago when his daughter Maggie vanished without a trace. Now relegated to working as an emergency police dispatcher, Ian has spent over a decade fueled solely by his refusal to give up hope. His stubborn faith is put to the ultimate test when he answers a frantic distress call from a teenage girl. He quickly becomes convinced is his long-lost daughter. Determined to bring her home, Ian embarks on a relentless quest that threatens to destroy everything in his path.
