The upcoming creature-feature Crawlers is officially slated for a nationwide theatrical release this October. Directed by Spanish horror auteur Ángel Gómez Hernández, the film transforms a routine residential complex into a claustrophobic, venomous warzone. It unleashes a relentless wave of skin-crawling suspense just in time for the Halloween season.
An Apartment Complex Under Siege
The story kicks off when an aggressive, highly toxic infestation of lethal spiders suddenly erupts within an apartment building. Recognizing the immediate biological threat, local authorities enforce a swift and unyielding police quarantine. They seal the entrance doors, stranding the helpless tenants inside with an advancing army of arachnids. What begins as an unsettling pest problem rapidly degrades into an absolute bloodbath. The creatures multiply by the second, navigating air vents, plumbing, and wall cavities to hunt down the trapped human inhabitants.

At the center of the frantic struggle for survival is Serena, portrayed by acclaimed genre star Matilda Lutz.
