Pabst Blue Ribbon and Horror Inc. are officially joining forces this fall for a blood-soaked, lager-fueled collaboration designed to bring the ultimate slasher experience straight to partygoers across America.
Built to celebrate two legendary subcultures that practically own the spooky season. This limited-edition crossover blends classic dive bar heritage with iconic horror fandom. PBR is rolling out custom Jason Voorhees-themed packaging alongside a massive lineup of premium merchandise. That includes co-branded apparel, retro glassware, tap handles, tackers, koozies, and collectible bobbleheads. The campaign sets the stage for Halloween and Peacock and A24’s highly anticipated “Crystal Lake” series.
Wear Your 12-Pack Like a True Killer
.
The undisputed crown jewel of the partnership is a stroke of sheer, booze-filled genius. The 12-pack beer box itself doubles as a wearable Jason Voorhees hockey mask. Either cut out the iconic mask or slap the entire beer box over your head. Instantly claim the best costume at the party. Company representatives only have one humble request for anyone hitting the town as a cardboard killer. Remember to cut an extra hole in the mask so you can actually drink your PBR!
Parties, Popcorn, and Coast-to-Coast Chaos
The nationwide terror campaign kicks off in September and runs through Friday, November 13. It will also pop up at major cultural hubs and nightlife spots along the way. PBR and Horror Inc. will invade New York Comic Con from October 8 to 11 with nightlife takeovers surrounding the venue. Then, they are heading to The Fest 24 from October 23 to 25, supplying Jason-themed swag across downtown venues. On October 15, the duo will team up with top-tier horror creators for nationwide watch parties. Fueling fan excitement with exclusive capsule merch and limited-edition collectible popcorn buckets.
Giant Bobbleheads and Friday the 13th Finale
Beyond the nightlife circuit, the collaboration is taking over retail aisles with towering six-foot cardboard standees and custom three-foot Jason Voorhees bobbleheads on display at select stores. Fans looking to score these oversized display pieces and exclusive merch can enter a nationwide social media sweepstakes running throughout the fall. The entire campaign will be anchored by digital activations celebrating Halloween, National Hockey Mask Day on November 1, and a grand finale “Last Chance to Buy” push that fittingly lands on Friday, November 13.
