Level 33 Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer for The Nice Ones, a new psychological horror-thriller from writer-director Peter Stylianou (Drained). Blending claustrophobic isolation with eerie cosmic dread, the feature promises an unsettling spin on the classic invasion subgenre.
An Eerie Countryside Escape Takes a Dark Turn
The narrative follows Kate, portrayed by Joelle Rae (The Witcher), as she travels with her boyfriend to join his group of close friends at a secluded countryside getaway. The peaceful weekend retreat collapses into suspicion when mysterious, unexplainable lights illuminate the night sky. Soon after, the group begins behaving bizarrely, becoming unnervingly placid, hyper-polite, and eerily “nice” versions of themselves. As the inhuman entity spreads through the cabin, Kate scrambles to convince the group that something is terribly wrong. However, her warnings to be dismissed as unhinged paranoia.
Ensemble Cast and Behind-the-Scenes Team
The film boasts a stacked ensemble of genre talent. That includes Emrhys Cooper (Nosferatu), Ayvianna Snow (Bogieville), Daniela Norman (Tiny Pretty Things), and Nick Lavelle (Red XII). Andrew Lyle-Pinnock (Drained), Tom Kelsey (My Bloody Galentine), and James Akka (The Sandman) join the fray. Genre veterans Ian Whyte (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Game of Thrones) and Donna Preston (The Sandman) also star.
Beyond writing and directing, Stylianou produced the feature alongside Andreas Olavarria (A Unicorn for Christmas), Taryn Procsal (Death Wish), and Tony Currier (Who Needs Enemies).

Look for The Nice Ones when Level 33 Entertainment rolls out the film exclusively on digital VOD storefronts nationwide on September 29.
