Over the past decade, several really terrific Spanish horror films have been released. This week, there’s one headed your way that looks creepy as hell, Raul Cerezo and Fernando Gonzalez Gomez’s horror The Elderly. The trailer reminds us that only thing creepier than kids in horror movies is senior citizens in horror movies.
In the film, which made its World Premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival. “An octogenarian named Manuel (Zorion Eguileor) falls into a state of dementia after the sudden suicide of his wife, sparking a series of paranormal events that will put his family’s lives at risk.”
Gustavo Salmeron, Paula Gallego and Irene Anula co-star alongside Equileor.
Dark Star Pictures will unleash The Elderly in the theaters on Friday, October 13th, followed by its debut on VOD and Digital on Halloween.
