One of my favorite parts of my gig is having the opportunity to meet and talk with people from different walks of life. Today, I had the pleasure of interviewing filmmaker Annalise Davis. Davis is a BAFTA Award-winning producer and writer whose latest movie, No Way Up, has just landed on VOD and Demand.
No Way Up (review) is a heart-pounding survival thriller. Claudio Fäh directs this gripping film. It sees a group of plane crash survivors in a desperate fight for survival. They find themselves trapped in an airlocked galley, deep underwater. And they are precariously dangling on the edge of an underwater abyss as sharks circle. They must find a way to survive before it is too late.
Producer Annalise Davis is known for her involvement in award-winning and gripping films and series, including “Severance,” The Railway Man, Up There, and more. Davis is also behind Wilder Films, which has a record for releasing award-winning indie films of all genres. Be sure to watch our interview below. Watch as Annalise Davis and I take a deep dive into No Way Up‘s making, its challenges, characters, and story, as well as her numerous upcoming projects. Be sure to follow Annalise on Facebook and Vimeo for updates.
I apologize in advance. My cats Ripley and Sabrina really wanted to be part of the conversation. It’s good for a giggle, though.
