To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the biggest horror films ever made, A Nightmare on Elm Street is coming to digital and 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray from New Line Cinema and renowned horror director Wes Craven,
A Nightmare on Elm Street introduced fans to the dream-walking killer Freddy Krueger in 1984, spawning a franchise that remains a fan favorite. Krueger, played by Robert Englund, remains iconic.
In the movie, a hideously scarred man who was murdered by a lynch mob returns years later in the terrifying nightmares of his killers’ teen children. One by one, the dreaming teenagers are starting to die in their sleep in horrific ways.
The movie stars Englund, John Saxon, Ronee Blakely, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, Nick Corri, and Johnny Depp.
The uncut classic has been remastered and features new footage and killer bonus features.
