Forget the ring light; you’re going to need a silver bullet. Full Moon Features—the kings of cult camp led by Charles Band—has just dropped the trailer for their latest creature feature, Models vs. Werewolves. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, but with a “Scream Queen” cherry on top.
The Ultimate Meta-Cast
The biggest draw here? The legendary Dee Wallace. Considering she survived The Howling, she’s basically the only person in this cast with the “resume” to handle a werewolf infestation. She stars alongside a group of soon-to-be-shredded influencers played by Sara Moliski, Rebecca Stoughton, Alexa Reddy, Sophie Swiszcz, Hanna Hueston, and Bela Mraz.
No Filter for This
The story follows five self-centered influencers who head to a remote Airbnb in the woods (because that always ends well) to document a “once-every-500-years” full moon. Unfortunately, they aren’t the only ones excited about the celestial event.
A pack of ancient, bloodthirsty werewolves has been waiting for this specific moonlight to wake up and order “Influencer Tartare.” It’s a battle of vanity versus claws, and let’s be real—a selfie stick is a terrible weapon against a werewolf.
Behind the Lens (and the Phone Screen)
Directed by Danny Draven (Patient Seven, and the legendarily titled Bad CGI Gator), this indie flick is leaning hard into its B-movie roots. In a move that is peak 2026, the film is being released in two ways: Streaming and a vertical series for microdrama platforms because nothing says “terror” like watching a werewolf attack in a 9:16 aspect ratio.
Full Moon’s 2026 World Domination
Models vs. Werewolves is only the second entry in Full Moon’s ambitious nine-film slate for 2026 if you’re keeping track of the madness.
Whether you’re in it for the practical gore or the hilarious sight of an influencer trying to “collab” with a monster, this looks like the perfect summer watch for those of us who prefer our wolves furry and our movies fast-paced.
