New Line and Warner Bros. are officially back to ensure you never look at your family the same way again. Evil Dead Burn—the highly anticipated sixth entry in the legendary franchise—is locked and loaded to swallow your soul in theaters on July 10, 2026. To ensure our collective anxiety levels stay appropriately elevated, a scorching hot new clip has just been unleashed. And it involves a candle, a whole lot of shadows, and the distinct lack of a happy ending.

Grieving with the Undead

Steering this new blood-soaked chapter into the abyss is director Sébastien Vaniček. He’s the visionary mastermind who recently turned arachnophobia into an art form with the French creature-feature Infested. Vaniček co-wrote the screenplay alongside his trusted Infested collaborator Florent Bernard, so expect the pacing to be absolutely relentless.

The narrative focuses on Alice, played by Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two). She’s a woman desperately grieving the recent loss of her husband. Unfortunately for Alice, the Necronomicon doesn’t respect the grieving process. Soon she finds herself fighting off a localized plague of cackling, flesh-possessing Deadites.

A Cast Worth Dying For

To maximize the onscreen carnage, Vaniček has assembled a fantastic, genre-fluent global ensemble that spans some major horror royalty. Tandi Wright (Ti West’s Pearl) stars alongside Hunter Doohan(Wednesday) and Errol Shand (Deathgasm).

Maude Davey (The Leftovers), George Pullar (Stonefish), and Greta Van Den Brink (Territory) round out the primary target list.

The Keepers of the Cabin

Behind the scenes, the franchise’s sacred foundations remain perfectly intact. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are producing the film through their Ghost House Pictures banner.

While Bruce Campbell won’t be strapped to a chainsaw for this round. The king himself is serving as an executive producer. He joins alongside Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin, Romel Adam, and Jose Canas.

Check out the terrifying new candle clip online right now to see exactly how Vaniček plans to handle the franchise’s signature brand of claustrophobic dread in Evil Dead Burn. Then make sure your calendar is completely clear on July 10, 2026.
