Sony Entertainment Pictures is about to unleash Heart Eyes, a new horror movie that transforms the year’s most romantic holiday into a day of terror. Prepare for a pulse-pounding, blood-drenched massacre as a killer sets their sights on unsuspecting victims.
Josh Ruben, known for his work on the horror movie Werewolves Within, directed the movie. The screenplay is a collaboration between Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon, and Michael Kennedy (interview). Landon and Kennedy have established themselves as prominent figures in the horror genre, having created the Happy Death Day franchise. Also, Kennedy wrote and produced the holiday set slasher It’s A Wonderful Knife.
The film boasts a strong cast featuring Olivia Holt, Mason Gooding, Gigi Zumbado, Michaela Watkins, Devin Sawa, and Jordana Brewster. Adding to the project’s pedigree, Heart Eyes comes from the producers of the Scream franchise, promising a similar blend of scares and suspense.
