Last year, Angry Orchard brought Friday the 13th to the Orchard by partnering with the Jason Universe for a blood-curdling hard cider 12-pack and tie-in short film. This year? They’re hanging up the hockey mask, picking up the landline, and giving horror fans a Halloween collaboration that is a total Scream.
Just in time for the spooky season, Angry Orchard Hard Cider is joining forces with the iconic Scream franchise to drop a limited-edition “Thriller Pack”—complete with a brand-new, Ghost Face-inspired flavor!
Four Flavors to Die For
Dropping in stores this August, the 12-can variety pack features four distinct autumn-ready flavors re-themed with killer Halloween names: Caramel Apple Curse, Headless Pumpkin, Blood Orange, and Mystery Caller. While the first three sound delicious enough to lose your head over, it’s the Mystery Caller can that will have horror collectors scrambling.
Not only is the can itself emblazoned with the iconic, slash-happy Ghost Face mask, but the entire “Thriller Pack” box comes equipped with glow-in-the-dark packaging that makes the mask pop off the shelf in the dark.
As for what the “Mystery Caller” actually tastes like? Angry Orchard is keeping its lips sealed for now. You’ll have to answer the call, open a can, and find out for yourself.
