4Digital Media has officially unleashed the atmospheric horror feature His Monster. It brings the dark, suspenseful tale to audiences worldwide this October.
A Grief-Stricken Father Battles Isolation and Unseen Terror
The narrative centers on James, a struggling alcoholic portrayed by Gabriel Casdorph (Killers of the Flower Moon). His life is shattered when his young daughter is mysteriously swept out to sea. Local authorities and community members dismiss the tragedy as a devastating accident at sea. However, James becomes consumed by the conviction that an ancient, predatory entity snatched his child from the shoreline.
Retreating into the dense surrounding forest, he spends his days hunting through the wilderness in a desperate search for evidence. But as bodies begin mounting in the area, James realizes the unseen threat is hunting closer to home and leaving him as the only one who recognizes the true nature of the evil stalking the township.
Compelling Performances Anchor a Tale of Trauma and Folklore
Co-starring Meranda Long (Survival Skills) alongside Casdorph, His Monster weaves psychological drama with creature-feature terror. It explores how deep grief, addiction, and rural isolation intersect with supernatural folklore.
The newly released trailer showcases a bleak, fog-choked environment that mirrors the lead character’s fractured mental state. It also raises the question of whether the relentless monster is a tangible beast or a manifestation of overwhelming guilt. The film promises an unsettling, character-driven experience for horror enthusiasts seeking atmospheric suspense. Watch it now on VOD and Digital.
