Get ready for the most terrifying team-building exercise ever. A new horror film, Corporate Retreat, boasts an impressive cast, and we have the details.
A Killer Cast and Crew
The film, written and directed by Aaron Fisher and produced by Uri Singer, is set to star Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), and Alan Ruck (Succession). The latest additions to the cast include Sasha Lane (American Honey) and Elias Kacavas (My Big Fat Greek Wedding). With a cast this talented, it’s clear this movie is aiming for more than just cheap thrills.
Lane is known for her starring role in the film American Honey, as well as recent roles in the movie Twisters and the limited series adaptation of Sally Rooney’s “Conversations With Friends”.
Kacavas recently starred in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 and the “Pretty Little Liars” reboot series. He also starred in the HBO series “Euphoria.”
Producer Uri Singer says, “We are really happy to bring Sasha and Elias on board. This cast is so incredible – we can’t wait for audiences to see them all together onscreen.”
Composer Anna Drubich of Barbarian and editor Claudia Castello have joined the post-production team for Corporate Retreat. Drubich also scored Brick, which is currently one of the top-watched movies on Netflix, and the Oscar-winning documentary Navlny. Castello is also best known for editing Creed, and her most recent work includes the feature Prey.
A Wild, Bloody Ride
So, what’s the film all about? It’s being described as an “elevated horror-thriller” that centers on a group of corporate bigwigs. They all head to a remote retreat for some cheesy team-building exercises. Little do they know, their leader has a hidden agenda, and their harmless trip is about to turn into a brutal fight for survival.
As producer Uri Singer put it, the new cast members will “bring tremendous depth and complexity” to the characters.
Production kicked off on Corporate Retreat in June, so it won’t be long before we get to see this talented cast face off against a killer.
