Back in December we learned that a sequel was in the works for Deathgasm, one of 2015’s best and most creative horror films. We reported then that writer-director Jason Lei Howden posted a photo on Instagram of the finished script, stating that gorehounds will be in for a big treat.
“There is literally more gore in the first ten minutes than the entire first #deathgasm.” Howden continued “If you kinda liked the first, this will make your head implode. If you thought the first Deathgasm was puerile, juvenille and dumb Goremageddon will melt your face off and force you to barricade yourself inside, safe with some Terrance Malik of Coldplay.”
Now, Deathgasm: Goremegeddon has moved into the early stages of production. We can expect Goremegeddon to rock theaters sometime in 2017.
For those of you who haven’t seen this heavy metal, head-splitting gore fest, I recommend that you do so immediately. The film follows a band who have unwittingly unleashed an ancient entity known as “The Blind One” while playing an ancient text with hopes of music stardom. The band must fight to survive and and fight to save the world from the demon.
