The pandemic film Patient Zero, originally set for release on September 2, 2016, has been pulled from release by Screen Gems. A new release date is to be announced soon.
Directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky, Patient Zero stars Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Stnaley Tucci (The Hunger Games), Agyness Deyn (Clash of the Titans) and The Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer and John Bradley.
In the film an unprecedented global pandemic of a super strain of rabies has turned the majority of the world’s population into highly intelligent, streamlined killer known as “The Infected”. One victim, Morgan (Matt Smith), who is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure for the outbreak.
