Worry Dolls possesses a brand new name and it’s first trailer. Now titled The Devil’s Dolls, the film brings terror, blood and Voodoo to select theaters, VOD and Digital HD this September.
Directed by Padraig Reynolds, the film was penned by Danny Kolker and Christopher Wiehl. The Devil’s Dolls stars Brea Grant, Ashlynn Ross, Brandon Johnson, Samantha Smith, Naomi Kyle, Kennedy Brice, Yohance Myles, Kym Jackon and Christopher Wiehl. Greg Haggart, Reynolds, Wiel and Kolker will be producing with Ted Ackerley and Greg Root serving as executive producers.
In the film, a serial killer unleashes a season of slaughter in the backwoods of Mississippi. According to an ancient Guatemalan tradition, parents teach their children to allay their troubles by telling them to handmade “worry dolls” just before bedtime. But when several of these talismans – which once belonged to a notorious mass murderer – find their way into the hands of unsuspecting residents of a small southern town sets off a grisly wave of bloodshed.
The Devil’s Dolls will open in select theaters and arrive on VOD and Digital HD on September 19th from IFC Midnight. Witness the first trailer.
