Sony has delayed James Gunn‘s next horror film, but there is good news, they have revealed the film’s title, BrightBurn. Originally set to premiere on November 30, 2018, the new date has been announced as May 24, 2019, according to Variety.
Gunn is producing the film along with The H Collective, a US-based film finance, production, marketing, and distribution company.
The project a family affair, with the script being written by Gunn’s brother Brian Gunn and cousin Mark Gunn who also teamed up for (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island). David Yarovesky (The Hive) will be directing.
Elizabeth Banks, Jackson Dunn, David Denman, Meredith Hanger, and Matt Jones are starring in BrightBurn whose plot details have yet to be revealed. They should be soon and we’ll let you know when they are.
