Director Adam Wingard‘s Godzilla vs. Kong has made a series of cast announcements, today it’s been announced, via Deadline, that “True Blood” actor Alexander Skarsgard has joined the cast.
Skarsgard joins previously announced cast members Demián Bichir (The Nun), Brian Tyree Henry (Child’s Play remake), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), and Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things).
Wingard directs from the screenplay written by Terry Rossio. Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, and Brian Rogers are producing.
Godzilla vs. Kong is set to open theaters on May 22, 2020, from Legendary and Warner Bros.
