Jen and Sylvia Soska‘s remake of David Cronenberg’s 1977 film Rabid is set to infect Amazon UK viewers this Spring.
Jigsaw‘s Laura Vandervoort stars as Rose, a seamstress who goes through a radical transformation with cosmetic surgery following a terrible accident. But perfection comes at a price. She develops a taste for human blood and her victims turn into rabid, blood-thirsty zombies who proceed to infect others, which turns into a city-wide epidemic.
Ben Hollingsworth, Hanneke Talbot, Mackenzie Gray, CM Punk, and AJ Mendez also star. Paul Lalonde, John Vidette, and Michael Walker produced with Charles Dorfman, David Gilbery, Larry Howard, and Paul McGowan executive producing. The Soska sisters also co-produced the film.
Rabid will arrive on the Amazon in the UK on March 25, 2019. The film will arrive in the US at a later date. We’ll let you know when as soon as it’s announced.
