Music legend Gene Simmons of ‘Kiss’ is teaming up with WWE Studios to great a new horror label. The new label, Erebus Pictures, will have the movie ‘Temple’, written by Matt Savelloni, as their first release. Erebus Pictures has already signed screenwriter Savelloni (Exile To Babylon) to a three picture deal. Principle photography for ‘Temple’ will begin this summer. The second film will be in production by the end of this year.

‘Temple’ follows a team of soldiers as they explore and investigate an isolated military compound that suddenly shut down. The team is trapped when the compound’s artificial intelligence mysteriously shuts down. Strange phenomena begin to plague the group. They must find out who or what caused the events if they want to make it out alive.

The name for the new label, ‘Erebus’, is a great choice for a horror company. Erebus is the Greek God of Darkness and the son of the Chaos.

Both Simmons and WWE Productions has been successful in their pursuits. WWE Studios has released movies such as ‘Oculus’, ‘See No Evil 2’ and the holiday horror ‘Santa’s Slay’ starring Goldberg.

I am interested to see what happens when their talents for making great entertainment combines.
