Ryan Murphy, creator of “American Horror Story” has revealed a few more tidbits about his upcoming “AHS” spinoff anthology series, “American Horror Stories.”
Murphy took to Instagram today saying, “We are doing 16 one-hour stand-alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends, and lore…many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love. More to follow…”
Back in May, the spinoff was announced as the 10th season of “AHS” was delayed due to the pandemic. But don’t panic, “AHS” will be back in 2021 on both FX and Hulu.
It’s really no surprise that long time series regular Sarah Paulson will be involved in the spinoff, however, it may not be on screen. Tuesday Paulson stated during a Netflix panel for Murphy’s other series “Ratched” in which she also stars, that, “I’ll be directing something.”
Deadline reports that their sources have described the new project as a companion anthology series to “AHS” with each episode being a stand-alone ghost story.
