A new trailer for the Thai horror The Convent has been released and it just might give you nightmares. Originally titled Run Phee and then Senior, writer-director Wisit Sasanatieng‘s film is finally coming to the states, we just don’t the exact date.
The trailer includes some terrifying sights such as a ghost whose face is crawling with maggots, a spirit covered in eyes, and an angry ghost whose face is dripping with blood.
The Convent centers on a young woman at a boarding school who can smell ghosts. She teams up with a dead classmate to uncover secrets that would prefer to remain buried. As they try to solve a mystery that began fifty years earlier with a murder, the two are faced with angry spirits hellbent on keeping the school’s secrets.
Sa-Ard Piempongsan, Kara Polasit, and Pongsakorn Tosuwann star.
ITN Distribution will be releasing the film in the U.S. As soon as we have a release date we’ll let you know. In the meantime, check out the nightmare-inducing trailer.
