
The new vampire series, “First Kill,” is gearing up to bear its fangs on Netflix. Created by best-selling author Victoria V.E. Schwab, the series is based on a short story from her anthology Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite. Today, we can report that the cast has been announced.
Sarah Catherine Hook (The Conjuring 3) stars along with Elizabeth Mitchell (The Purge: Election Year), Gracie Dzienny (Eighth Grade), Dylan McNamara (Ambition), Will Swenson (The Greatest Showman), Aubin Wise (Atlanta), Jason Robert Moore (The Punisher), Dominic Goodman (Young Rock), Jonas Dylan Allen (First Kill), Phillip Mullings Jr. (American Soul), and Roberto Mendez (Los Paracaidistas).
Featuring eight episodes, in the first season, when it’s time for Juliette to make her first kill, she sets her eyes on Calliope Burns who turns out to be a member of the vampire-huntings Burns family. So she sets out to discover and end vampire killing sprees.
Felicia D. Henderson (The Punisher, Empire, Gossip Girl, Soul Food) serves as both writer and showrunner and will executive produce along with Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, and Schwab.
