A group of hikers lost on the Appalachian Trail stumble across an ancient secret that threatens their very survival in Eric Blue’s Beacon Point. Blue, who makes his feature film directorial debut with Beacon Point, also penned the screenplay. Rae Oliver, Jon Briddell, Eric Goins, Jason Burkey, RJ Shearer, Takara Clark, Megan Gallacher, Jason MacDonald, Jayson Warner Smith, Randall Taylor and Paisley Scott star in this film that tells of land taken over by dark entities when the Cherokee were forced off their land. The first scene of the film follows two men hunting something deep in the Appalachian Mountains. We don’t see what they are hunting, but those are no regular hunting rifles they are carrying. We next see Drake (Jon Bridell), a wilderness Ranger with a troubled past. As he checks in at the Ranger station, his boss confronts him about something that he left off his resume, the fact the he’s a felon. An argument escalates into

A Group Of Friends Are Hunted By Psychos In Makeup In Clown Town

Clowns have long been feared. Makeup hiding their true identity, their evil grins, their strange sense of humor, it gives me the creeps just thinking about them. The creators of the upcoming film Clown Town, about a pack of psychotic clowns, are capitalizing on our fears of those wearing the big red nose. Directed by Tom Nagel, Clown Town follows a group of friends who are stranded in a seemingly deserted small town and find themselves stalked by a violent gang of violent psychotic men dressed as clowns. Clown Town stars Brian Nagel, Katie Keene, Lauren Elise, Greg Violand, Jeff Denton, Maryann Nagel, and Kaitlyn Sapp. The demented clowns are played by David H. Greathouse, Ryan Pilz, Chris Hahn, Alann Tuskes and Beki Ingram. Clown Town will be released later this year, in the mean time here’s the trailer to tide you over.

Hush Director Mike Flanagan Behind The Upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer Reboot

Everywhere you turn there are horror remakes and reboots being churned out like never before. Frankly, horror fans are over seeing movies they love, hate, or care nothing about, being redone. But it is hat it is and we have an update on another movie to add to the loooong list. Back in 2014 we reported that there was a reboot of 1997’s slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer in the works. After two years of no news, we finally have some. During and interview this week with Shockwave Mike Flanagan, director of Oculus, Hush, and Before I Wake, explained where the film stands. We wrote it for Sony. We turned in the script and they loved it. It’s going fine. They’re going to make it. I’m not directing it,” Flanagan to Shockwaves. “It’s a really neat take. It’s a whole new deal. We’re not interested in doing the same thing again with the eliminated teenagers and fisherman.”

Bullets & Bodices – A Review Of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

I’ve been waiting a long time to see Pride & Prejudice & Zombies from director Burr Steers who also penned the screenplay based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen, which was fantastic. I was so excited when it was released last week on Blu-ray and DVD. I had high-hopes for the film from the beginning and I was not let down. The cast for this period film includes Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcote, Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, Suki Waterhouse, Douglass Booth, Sally Phillips, Charles Dance, Jack Huston, Lena Headey, Matt Smith and more. Lilly James stars as the proud, Elizabeth Bennet whose fighting skills are as incredible as her beauty. Elizabeth, like her sisters, was trained in the art of fighting, which is necessary due to the enormous number of zombies that roam both the country side and towns, as well as the normal training for high bred ladies, like dancing and singing. Elizabeth and her

Young Woman Dies During Real Life Exorcism

Movies like The Exorcist, and The Conjuring put on quite a show when it comes the subject of exorcism, but for some, it can be all too real. Jaqueline Sanchez was 22-year-old years old when her family first reported that she was possessed by a demon. The Mirror reports that her symptoms began shortly after playing with a Ouija board. The young woman’s parents told local news reporters that Jaqueline began suffering from random convulsions and bouts of hysteria. After examining the women, doctors reported that they could not find the source of her symptoms. Her parents, not knowing what else to do, next took their daughter to the Church of San Ignacio de Velasco where she reportedly levitated off of a table and spoke in a man’s deep voice. During the exorcism that followed, Juaqueline lost her life. After an autopsy, the cause of her death was determined to be cardio respiratory arrest. Noting that aside from some cuts
