Movie Review: A Quiet Place: Part Two (2021)

In 2018, John Krasinski delivered A Quiet Place, which was hit with critics and viewers alike. Now, the sequel is coming to Blu-ray and DVD in just a few days. A Quiet Place: Part Two begins by revealing what happened the day the creatures arrived, with the small town seeing balls of light in the sky falling to earth before the creatures suddenly appear to reak havoc on the town. The film then picks up right where the first movie left off with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe leaving their home and facing the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond their sand path. Sequels rarely live up to the original film, but that’s not the case with Part Two. We get a film that not only

The movie’s done,” Blum told Collider. “Yeah, we did it.” Originally the franchise was intended to end in 2015, but Paramount had other ideas. Paramount wanted to continue Paranormal Activity, I probably would have left it alone,” Blum states. “So they wanted to continue it, but I thought if they were gonna continue it, you gotta – it was tired, there was no way to continue the road that we’d been down. So I really encouraged all the creative people involved to think of something new. A lot of people who are going to go see the new Paranormal Activity were 3 years old when the first Paranormal Activity

David Gordon Green’s ‘The Excorcist’ Will Not Be A Reboot

David Gordon Green‘s (Halloween, Halloween Kills) upcoming installment of The Exorcist franchise was first rumored to be a reboot. Thankfully we can tell you it is not a reboot but is actually a sequel to the 1973 William Friedkin classic, which we reported earlier this month. Now, Green has confirmed it to Total Film. The new movie will be handled the same way Green has handled the Halloween movies. The Exorcist has been written. That was one of my pandemic projects. It’s not inaccurate [that it will be a sequel to the original film]. I like all the Exorcist movies,” Gordon Green explained to Total Film during a chat. “And not only do I like them, I think they can all fall into the acceptable mythology for what I’m doing. It’s not like I’m saying, ‘Pretend that The Exorcist 2 never happened.’ That’s fine to exist. They’re all fine to exist, and I enjoy all of them.” Green adds, “It’s

We have eight episodes to explore these characters who are not just running from a stalker, they are also having relationships and having issues with their families, and they are dealing with their fucking lives. Movie Review: Old (2021)

M. Night Shyamalan takes us on a trip to an exotic location in his new horror movie Old, out today in theaters. The movie begins with two families on vacation at an all-inclusive resort, but both families are hiding something from their families. The two families set off for a remote private beach that seems like a dream come true, but it’s actually a nightmare as the families, along with several other people, begin to notice changes in the children and then themselves, they are rapidly aging. The first thing I have to mention is the casting. The children are played by multiple actors as they age and the casting was dead on. That’s a hard task to pull off, but Old nailed it. The cast of adults was another great choice. They really emote the terror and confusion that their characters are experiencing. The cast includes Golden Globe winner Gael García Bernal (Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle), Vicky Krieps
