Terminator First Look Photo Features Female Trio…And A Familiar Face

Hello there my Little Monsters, sorry about all the “F” sounds in the title. Anyways, I come to you today with some casting news on the Terminator front. Earlier today Paramount Pictures released an official photo featuring Terminator franchise alum Linda Hamilton, as well as franchise newcomers Mackenzie Davis (Bladerunner 2049) in the role of Grace and Natalia Reyes (2091) in the role of Dani Ramos. As you can see from the above picture, Hamilton is geared up and ready to reprise her legendary role of Sarah Connor. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also set to to return, marking the first time he and Hamilton have appeared together in the franchise since 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Also joining the cast, as the newest in a long line of Terminators, is Gabriel Luna, who many may recognize for his turn as Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider on the ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Alfred Hitchcock Funko Coming Soon.

This October fans will be able to add famed suspense director, Alfred Hitchcock to their Funko POP! collection. The figure is colored in grayscale (classic black and white) with his iconic double chin holding a film clapper with the title “Psycho”, this film from 1960 is one of Hitchcock’s most memorable films about a woman who stole money from her employer and while on the run, encounters a serial killer. Hitchcock’s other known film titles include “The Birds“, “Vertigo“, and “Rear Window” including the television series “Alfred Hitchcock Presents“. This is will be the 6th POP! in the director series that include James Wan (“Saw“, “The Nun“), Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok“, “Moana“), Paul Feig (“Spy“, “Ghostbusters” remake), James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy” film series), and Guillermo Del Toro (“The Shape of Water“, “Pan’s Labyrinth“).

New Difficulty Update Coming Soon For ‘Vampyr’

Later this summer, fans of the blood-sucking RPG, “Vampyr” will see a new update to the game, a difficulty setting. The game’s difficulty depends on the actions players take to earn XP to raise the stats of Jonathan Reed, the game’s protagonist. Players can earn XP by fighting enemies, locating documents, talking with London citizens, and completing side missions but if you want to earn a lot of XP quickly you can “embrace” (suck the blood) of characters you meet along the way but by doing so can affect events in the game. The new difficulty will affect how players can earn XP, through combat you will earn little to none, making the temptation greater to feed on the citizens of London. Because of this new update, it would make the gameplay more about the narrative of the story. ‘Halo: Fireteam Raven’ Makes Its World Debut

Fans of “Halo” should get their passports ready and set their sights on Australia. For the first time, the popular game series has entered the world of arcade gaming with “Halo: Fireteam Raven”, which was revealed at Timezone (Australia’s answer to Dave & Buster’s) at the Sydney, Macquarie Shopping Centre. “Halo: Fireteam Raven” is a 4 player arcade experience where players can either work together or fight each other. The game booth sports a 130-inch widescreen, 4K gameplay, and 5.1 surround sound. Fans can fight alongside Master Chief as ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) members of Fireteam Raven as they fight off the Alien conglomerate known as The Covenant and the dreaded zombie-like infection known as The Flood. Eventually, more Timezone locations will have “Halo: Fireteam Raven” in their arcades but fingers crossed that “Halo” fans in the states will see this beauty of arcade goodness someday here at home!

‘The SNES Omnibus: The Super Nintendo and Its Games’ Is A Nostalgic Treasure Map

I sat down with a hefty book for a nice afternoon of reading (Yes I DO read, I don’t play video games all the time!). I read through Brett Weiss’s “The SNES Omnibus: The Super Nintendo and Its Games, Vol. 1 (A–M)” from Schiffer Publishing. This coffee table book is amazing! The book has more than 2,000 colored images showing off the majesty of over 350 SNES titles! What is amazing about this book is how much it’s a trip down memory lane for me. I did not play SNES growing up so I missed out on a lot of these games but I remember the box art and advertising posters when I would go rent movies! A lot of the games in this book were based on TV shows I watched when I was younger and forgot about! Senua Is Back, This Time In VR!

Ninja Theory is again taking the gaming experience to a whole other level in “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice VR Edition”. The BAFTA award-winning game will now have a VR feature that will launch on Steam on July 31, 2018, for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The VR feature will be free to those who already purchased the game on Steam. The story will still be in third-person but the headset will now act as the camera as well as an aid in controlling Senua’s movements. “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” is a dark fantasy game about a young Pict woman named Senua who has come to the land of the “Northmen” to travel to their underworld to rescue the soul of her lover who was sacrificed to Hel, the Northmen’s goddess of the underworld. The final chapter to “The Walking Dead” game series by Telltale Games will be coming August 10th where choices made by players will determine how the story’s main protagonist, Clementine’s chapter in “The Walking Dead” universe will end. ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ Is Praised By Horror Gaming Legend

“Remothered: Tormented Fathers”, a survival horror video game that’s a throwback to classic interactive entertainment titles that define the genre. With the impending console release less than 24 hours away (July 25, 2018) the game and its hardworking developers received some (well deserved) recognition and praise from a legend in the horror gaming field. Chris Darril, creative director of “Remothered: Tormented Fathers” received a tweet from Keiichiro Toyama who praised the game. Toyama is the creator of critically acclaimed gaming horror phenomenon “Silent Hill”. MetaArcade Announces New Levels For ‘Cthulhu Chronicles’ Mobile Game

Mobile game developer MetaArcade has announced four new levels to their horror game “Cthulhu Chronicles” based on the popular tabletop RPG game “Call of Cthulhu” by Chaosium. This week the first of these new levels, “The good professor” was released (July 17th). The great old one, or as some call the “great dreamer” will be arriving on console and PC just in time for Halloween! “Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game” by Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive, will be released October 30th of this year (2018)! The first-person cosmic horror experience takes players to the mysterious island of Darkwater as private investigator Edward Pierce. The game not only is an RPG but it will have stealth mechanics as well that will affect the sanity of Pierce as well as players.
