New Trailer & Character Information For ‘We Happy Few’

Gearbox Publishing and Compulsion Games have released the latest trailer for their upcoming psychedelic dystopian twist about England in the 1960’s, “We Happy Few”. As mentioned in a previous article, there will be three playable characters and today new information is available about them! Many know about Arthur, a man who works for the news only allowing “happy” information to be printed. The next character has a connection to Arthur, Ollie, a former soldier who’s impatient and not quite fully there (mentally). And finally, we have Sally, a scientist, and socialite who can blend in and conform allowing her to sneak around. “We Happy Few” will be out August 10th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Instagram Model Attacked By Shark? Not really.

WARNING: Some may find the following images disturbing. With “Shark Week” approaching, heads will be filled with images of vicious sharks that lie in wait in the oceans to just attack humans and people who are not experts or are educated will interject falsely as we now see in a Buzzfeed article about 19-year-old Instagram model Katarina Zarutskie who says she was “attacked” by a shark while trying to pose for a picture. Zarutskie was vacationing in the Bahamas with her boyfriend and family and took many opportunities to snap pictures of her enjoying the beach. Then the ultimate opportunity arrived when the vacationers came upon a school of Nurse Sharks whose “docile” behavior make them attractions for swimmers in the Bahamas who want to swim with sharks. Zarutskie floated motionless on her back as her boyfriend took the pictures but soon afterward, one nurse shark bites her and pulls her under the water. To Katarina’s credit, she remained calm

Review Of ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ for Xbox One

The cool hardworking folks over at Darril Arts gave me the opportunity to play the Xbox One version of their awesome horror-stealth game ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ in a previous article I spoke of this. The game is out now on PC but will be out on PS4 and Xbox ONE July 25th. It’s been a while since a horror game actually spooked me! I would play the game, take a break from it and partially vow to never play again but the story drew me back in because I wanted to see what happens next! The story takes place in 1970’s Italy and follows a woman named Rosemary Reed who came to the mansion of Dr. Felton to ask about his health while in reality, her true intention is to find out what happened to his daughter Celeste who has gone missing years ago. ‘Cthulhu Chronicles’ A Horror Mobile Game

Mobile gaming app developer Metaarcade will bring the otherworldly madness of Cthulhu to your mobile device in ‘Cthulhu Chronicles’. Players take on many roles as different characters who are all investigating the cult of Cthulhu through different scenarios. This RPG game is different from others as instead of building up your characters abilities through combat; you must pick the right character for the investigative scenario as each character has their own strengths and weaknesses as well as their own storyline. The mobile game is based on the physical board game and will be available for iOS devices, don’t worry, other platforms are in development. July 8th is Video Game Day, a day where gamers celebrate by sharing their favorite games, talking about their gaming memories, and engage in the age-old argument on which is better console or PC. While we (gamers) celebrate both the nostalgia and future of gaming, there’s one person we really should celebrate, Ralph H. Baer (1922-2014). Without Baer, we probably would never have had gaming systems. So who is he? Baer was born in Germany in 1922. Life was hard for Baer and his family due to the social and political firestorm that was taking over Germany at the time, and that they were Jewish. In 1938 at the age of 16, Baer’s family moved to New York, two months later the infamous Kristallnacht took place. Doomsday Cult Leader Executed

As of Friday morning of July 6th, 2018 (Japan Time) and Thursday evening of July 5th, 2018 (EST), infamous cult leader Shoko Asahara (63) was put to death by hanging along with five other cult members. Asahara was the leader of the Doomsday cult Aum Shinrikyo whose core belief is that Japan and the United States would engage in a nuclear war that will wipe out humanity. The cult that was inspired by many mangas and animes (the most influential one being ‘Akira’) was responsible for many heinous crimes across Japan ranging from kidnappings to murder, the most notable incident being the 1995 nerve gas attack in the Tokyo Subway that killed 12 and injured thousands. According to Asahara’s doctrine, the gas attack(s) would spark a war between the US and Japan leading to the apocalypse. You may not know this but the fast food chain KFC is popular in Japan, especially the loveable grandfather-like mascot, Colonel Sanders. A one-man development (literally just one guy) is working on the most intriguing game to date, “Amityville ‘76”. The game takes place following the events of the “Amityville Horror” in 1976 the Lutz family fled their home in the middle of the night because of a demonic presence that was haunting them. Players will take on the role of an individual who was granted access to investigate the house to see whether or not the stories were true. The game itself is a cross between “Amityville Horror” and “Paranormal Activity” The developer painstakingly modeled the interior of the house to how it was when the Lutz family left, right down to the details of furnishings and items left behind. There will be two modes in the game, the story mode (investigation) and exploratory where you can explore the house without anything creepy happening. Gun Media Permanently Halts All ‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Developments

Today, the makers of the popular multiplayer horror game, “Friday the 13th: the Game” announced there will no further developments or updates to the game. The game’s developer Gun Media’s founder and President Wes Keltner says all they (the developers) can focus on now with the game is fixing glitches/bugs in the game and maintenance on console servers. The plans for new Jason characters, locations, and councilors were slashed due to an ongoing lawsuit between the original film writer Victor Miller and its director/producer Sean Cunningham who currently owns the rights to “Friday the 13th”. Miller’s suit claims that he is, in fact, the rightful owner of the rights to the franchise since he was the one who wrote the story and created the famous mask wearing antagonist Jason Voorhees.
