‘Ghost Light’ Unveils Haunting Trailer Ahead Of Los Angeles Film Festival World Premiere

Ahead of its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival this month, the first trailer has arrived for Ghost Light, the story of an unfortunate Shakespearean acting troupe that unleashes the infamous curse of Macbeth with horrifying results. Directed by John Stimpson, the paranormal thriller stars Roger Bart (“Episodes;” “Graves;” “Revenge”), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride; Robin Hood Men in Tights; Saw), Tom Riley (“The Collection;” “Da Vinci’s Demons;” “Monroe”), Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale; “Wayward Pines;” “Sleepy Hollow”), Scott Adsit (“30 Rock;” Big Hero 6; “Veep”), Danielle Campbell (“The Originals;” “Famous in Love;”), and Carol Kane (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt;” Scrooged; “Gotham”). “Nothing is more sacred to true Shakespearian actors than “The Scottish Play,” which demands a deep reverence to always be exhibited both onstage and off during a performance, except the reverence from ennui-engulfed Tom Riley is a bit lacking, to say the least. A Finds Himself Aboard ‘The Boat’ Setting Sail At Fantastic Fest

Latina Pictures and Carnaby International have now announced the world premiere of longtime producer Winston Azzopardi‘s The Boat, his directing debut. His son Joe Azzopardi, who co-wrote the film, also stars. The Boat will screen for the first time at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, preceded by the short film Albatross Soup. Building on a tradition of eerie, ghostly British tales, The Boat is a menacing thrill ride that pits a violent survival drama against the supernatural. In the leading role, Joe Azzopardi stars as the fisherman, a practical man whose quick thinking and sea-faring experience ensure that his fight against the unnatural force is more than even. “A lone fisherman, lost in the deep mist, boards an abandoned sailboat. Zombie Comedy ‘One Cut Of The Dead!’ Gnaws It’s Way To Vancouver Film Festival

From September 27th to October 12th the Vancouver International Film Festival will be showcasing works from filmmakers around the world. Most of the films this year are documentaries dealing with issues in the modern world, fictionalized dramas, and of course avant-garde. I’m not sure how most of you (the readers) would be into that stuff but one film submission from Japan seems like something you would like! “Kamera Wo Tomeruna! (One Cut of the Dead!)” The film is a Gonzo-style comedy film, the kind of which Japan is known for. Gonzo comedy is over the top, extreme, and sometimes just so strange where you can’t help but laugh at how unreasonable it is. “One Cut of the Dead!” follows a film crew filming a low-budget cheesy zombie flick in a remote area in the mountains. FrightFest Unleashes Exclusive Poster For ‘The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot’

FrightFest has unleashed the exclusive poster for one of the best films of the year, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot, ahead of its premiere. Sam Elliott (The Hero, A Star Is Born, Road House) stars as a legendary World War II veteran who many years ago assassinated Adolf Hitler – an incredible secret that he’s frustratingly unable to share with the world. One day, just as he’s coming to terms with rounding out his life, Calvin gets a visit from the FBI and The Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They need him to take out Bigfoot. This fantastic film marks the feature debut of writer/director Robert D. Krzykowski. New GAMESCOM ‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Trailer Takes You Inside A House Of Madness

The highly anticipated RPG game of the year, “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game”, released a new trailer at the gaming event GAMESCOM. The trailer highlights key gameplay mechanics accompanied by commentary explaining in detail how your actions can affect the outcome of the game. “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game” is based on the tabletop RPG that’s inspired by the short story of the same name by H.P. Fandemic Comic Con Adds Chuck Norris To Its Lineup

Fandemic Comic Con has just announced a new addition to their celebrity lineup, film and TV star Chuck Norris for a one day only appearance on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Norris is best known for his roles in films like Delta Force, Code of Silence, The Expendables 2 and of course his long-running series “Walker, Texas Ranger.” Norris is a successful actor, author, fitness guru, columnist, entrepreneur, Master Martial Artist and an internet legend thanks to his fan’s Paul Bunyan-type fictional “facts” of his exploits. He has also created a foundation close to his heart, KICKSTART KIDS to build strong moral character in our youth through martial arts training. As of today, the foundation serves over 9,000 at-risk youth on a daily basis as part of the daily school curriculum in middle schools, The program has graduated almost 90,000 kids.
