Walking Dead Actor Joins The Cast Of Rampage

The film adaption of the 1986 Midway video game Rampage already has an impressive cast that includes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomi Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, Jake Lacey, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill. Today, we have news (via Deadline) that the latest addition to the all-star lineup is none other than Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Morgan is set to play the role of Agent Russell, who works for the OGA, a covert government agency. The character is said to have serious swagger and an attitude to match. That sounds a lot like Negan, the sadistic character he currently plays on the mega hit series The Walking Dead. Brad Peyton (Incarnate, San Andreas) is in the director’s chair for the adaptation written by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, and Adam Sztykiel. At the moment the plot is still being kept under wraps, but if the story follows the game’s plot, Revenge will feature monsters who attack

Creepy New Trailer for VALLEY OF DITCHES Drops

It’s said that everything’s bigger in Texas, but the stripped down new trailer for Valley of Ditches manages to deliver the horror with nothing but two great actors and a dusty mountain top. Starring Amanda Todisco as a woman left to die in an open grave and Russel Bradley Fenton as the man who left her there, Valley of the Ditches looks to be an interesting take on a tale as old as cinema. I’m always a sucker for a good dramatic dialogue, and Fenton’s discussion in the trailer of murdering his brother (and why it felt so right) is enough to give the sturdiest of spines a chill. Director Christopher James Lang, a well known producer behind several of your favorite true crime and paranormal tv shows, might just be delivering his magnum opus. And for everyone that hates the desert as much as I do, this just might be the scariest indie film released this year. Valley of

The Cat In The Hat Somehow Makes The IT Trailer Even Creepier

The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that….child murder that is! Taking a cue from the already vaguely horrifying 2003 film, famous internet mashup artist But Without has made a trailer combo for the ages, taking the recently released IT trailer and replacing all the horrifying Pennywise scenes with the somehow even more horrifying Mike Myer’s dressed as The Cat in the Hat. As both a huge IT fan (I read the book twice before I turned 13) and someone who actually really enjoys 2003’s Cat in the Hat (looking at it as a dark comedy designed to slowly drive Alec Baldwin mad makes it a lot funnier), this was the hardest I’ve found myself laughing in a long while. Truth be told, given the choice between being locked in a basement with a dancing clown or a 8 foot tall bipedal cat wielding a rusty hoe, I think I’d choose the clown.
