Daniel Lutz Wants To Make A Film About His Experiences In The Amityville Horror House

There have been many films that have capitalized on the tragedy that befell the DeFeo family in 1974 after the family was brutally murdered by one of their own in their home at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, New York. The home’s next residents, the Lutz family, only stayed in the home 28 days before fleeing with recounts of paranormal activity. The family’s story was adapted into a book by Jay Anson, then became one of the genre’s largest movie franchises, beginning with 1979’s classic ‘The Amityville Horror‘. Back in 2012 George Lutz’s stepson, Daniel Lutz, told his side of the story of what happened in the home during those dark 28 days in the fantastic documentary ‘My Amityville Horror’, directed by Eric B. Walter. This week, Daniel called out producers Jason Blum and Harvey Weinstein, while tagging TMZ, during a series of brutal rants on Twitter. What is unclear is why Lutz is attacking the very people that could

The film is that the movie starts out in another city before heading to New York. It seems the new version is going to be very different than the original. Per The Wrap: Because New York being a prison was kind of crucial to the whole “escape from New York” concept. In the reboot, New York is breathtakingly lovely. I’ve known Jason [Blum] for a while, he came to me and said ‘How do you feel about this now that rights have diverted?’ and I said, ‘Sure, why not? I’ll give it a shot and I’ll also try to support the director.’ We don’t have a script yet, so I can’t tell you what it’s about, but I guarantee you
