Ubisoft Montreal (a branch of Ubisoft) has released some major titles over the years most notably the “Assassin’s Creed” series, the “Far Cry” series, and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege”. I always wanted a pet Dinosaur when I was a kid, I think that was a common wish by most youngsters. After seeing the “Jurassic Park” films over the years I think that changed my opinion but I can live that wild dream again in the business simulation video game, “Jurassic World Evolution”. Frontier Developments was kind enough to allow me early access to the game. The game is basically like your theme park simulation games except you are dealing with dinosaurs in the “Jurassic World” universe (meaning all hell will break loose). You take on the role of a park manager on the Las Cinco Muertes (the five deaths) island where you are building a new “Jurassic World” theme park and to help you along the way is Ian Malcolm offering his opinions and advice along with other characters from the films, and yes, Jeff Goldblum is playing Malcolm! Onto the game; if you’re not familiar with business/multitasking/management type

DontNod and Focus Home Interactive gave me the opportunity to play their horror game, “Vampyr”. The game is about Dr. Jonathan Reid, a prominent surgeon who specializes in blood transfusions who recently has become a vampire. Reid is back home in London after the Great War and the Spanish flu epidemic has started to spread and vampires are joining in on the killing. The game is in third-person giving you the chance to see around your environment perfectly. As you explore London, you are able to use a vampire vision mechanic that allows you to see blood trails that lead you to find clues as well as little rat morsels you can eat! You can find hideouts where you can upgrade Reid’s weapons as well as his perks. The points you can use are where the main point of the game comes in, you can earn points by talking to people, investigations etc, but if you want a lot of

Ever wonder what it would be like if you were in “Duel”? Well now you can from the safety of your own home, and no driver’s license is required! Meet “Beware” (formally known as “Driving Survival”) is a first-person open-world driving horror game. The game is still currently being developed but a demo of the game is available HERE to download. Players take on the role of an unseen character driving around what appears to be an abandoned Eastern European town/village at night before being pursued by a car full of what looks like cloned caricatures of famed boxer Butterbean. According to the information provided, the game itself is about “information gathering” while you explore the dark desolate countryside. There is a stealth mechanic where you can prevent a horror movie style car chase. The scariest part of the car chase is if you are stopped or wipe out, the guys in the car chasing you get out and run

Bethesda Game Studios knows how to tease fans when it comes to their favorite game series, especially when it comes to “Fallout”, the post-apocalyptic first-person shooter that takes players into an alternate timeline where the United States suffered a nuclear holocaust. Yesterday, a teaser trailer for the latest installment of the gaming franchise was released, offering little details. “Fallout 76“, according to sources, is rumored to be an online multiplayer game that takes place inside Vault 76, one of many subterranean Vaults that were designed to house hundreds of selected citizens of the United States in the event of a nuclear blast. Those living in the vaults will eventually be evicted and sent back up to the surface to rebuild and repopulate what remains of the United States. The rumors also have stated that the game will be a survival RPG style game much like “Day Z” and “Rust” where players have to collect supplies and weapons and build shelters

Sometime in 2018, the most anticipated pole playing horror game will bring new cosmic horrors to gamers everywhere, “The Call Of Cthulhu”. The game, from Cyanide Studio, is an adaptation of the RPG boardgame based on the famed short story written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1926 before being published in 1928. Players will take on the role of a private investigator named Edward Pierce as he investigates the mysterious death of an artist named Sarah Hawkins on the mysterious island of Darkwater. As Pierce, players can recruit others to help him investigate different cases on the island in an open-world setting, all the while facing your own sanity as madness slowly grips you. Many fans of Lovecraft’s works pretty much know the background of this tale that’s taking place in the same universe as the original short story but there’s also a strong possibility that some may not be aware of the lore that will be seen in it, to

So apparently, according to YouTube channel CryptTube, back in the ‘90s there was a good amount of work done on a ‘Tales From The Crypt’ video Game. Artist Mike Vosburg claims to have done quite a bit of work on the now defunct project. The art concepts show that the game would have focused on classic tales from both the show and the comic as well as original stories. John Kassir himself even confirmed (in typical Crypt Keeper way) that he had done voice work for the game. When asked if her remebered working on the game, he replied: “Sure Do…..was a HEAD of it’s Slime! Sad it never saw the light of SLAY!” Even Mr. Kassir is unsure of why the game was never released, but one day the people in charge will hopefully recognize that people want more ‘Tale From The Crypt’ in any media possible!
