Episode 3 Of "The Last Of Us" Left Viewers In Tears

Episode 3 Of “The Last Of Us” Left Viewers In Tears

Many shows take a stab at getting to viewers’ hearts with emotional scenes and episodes, but they usually fall short. Sunday night, I witnessed what may be the most emotional episode of any series I have ever watched. Of course, I’m talking about episode three of “The Last of Us.” And I’m sure many of the 6.4 million viewers that tuned in would agree. I am a die-hard horror fan and rarely ever cry in real life, but episode three had me crying, ugly crying, snot dripping, and all. Don’t get it twisted; it wasn’t all heartaches and sadness; instead, the episode was about love, which was beautiful. Warning! Spoilers! In what may be considered a controversial move (get over it already), the episode centers on Bill, played by Nick Offerman (“Parks and Recreation”), a prepper who is fantastic at building traps and surviving alone. One day a traveler named Frank (Murray Bartlet) stumbles into one of Bill’s traps. Bill

Bad News Comes For Fans Of HBO's "Last Of Us" Series

HBO Renews “Last Of Us” For Season Two

This probably comes as no surprise given the show’s popularity, but HBO has officially ordered the second season of “The Last of Us!” We may just be a couple of episodes into the new series, but the new horror drama already has more than 5.7 million viewers tuning in, and rightfully so. From what’s being said, the first season will concentrate on the original game, and the second season will concentrate on the first game’s sequel. “I’m humbled, honored, and frankly overwhelmed that so many people have tuned in and connected with our retelling of Joel and Ellie’s journey. The collaboration with Craig Mazin, our incredible cast and crew, and HBO exceeded my already high expectations,” co-showrunner Neil Druckmann said in a statement. “Now we have the absolute pleasure of being able to do it again with season two! On behalf of everyone at Naughty Dog and PlayStation, thank you!” “I’m so grateful to Neil Druckmann and HBO for our

Game Review 'Dead Space' Remake

Game Review ‘Dead Space’ Remake

When EA announced they were making a remake of Dead Space, I‘ll admit, I was not 100% on board with the idea, but EA was awesome enough to take me on a nostalgic horror trip back into deep space. So with all the hype being built around it, how does the remake fair? Let’s take a look at Dead Space. For those not familiar with the story already, Dead Space follows an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who, along with others, is sent to the USG Ishimura, a large mining ship, after it sent out a distress signal. Soon afterward Clark and the crew discover that the ship is overrun with strange alien creatures. Not onto the game itself! For returning Dead Space fans you should know that the controls are the same so muscle memory will take over as soon as you start! But for new fans, the controls are relatively simple to learn and there’s a tutorial option that

Game Review: Next Gen Port Of 'Risen'

Game Review: Next Gen Port Of ‘Risen’

Back in 2009, a game launched a series of “Gothic RPGs” and developed a cult following, that game is Risen, and today it’s been brought to 2023 by being ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Did the port work Or should have Risen stayed in 2009? I would like to thank THQ Nordic for the reviewing opportunity! Risen is about an unnamed character who ends up washed ashore on an island that’s under the control of Inquisitors and inadvertently frees titans. Now onto the game itself! The control layout for Risen is quite… overly complex. Pretty much every button does something and not what you think it should do. I’ve also noticed a lack of proper tutorial resulting in me having to wing it for a good majority at the start. This makes combat a bit difficult as the game throws you into scenarios where you have to fight. As I’ve played I also noticed that Risen
