Following the massive success of season four of “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula,” which became one of Shudder’s most-watched series of 2021, Shudder, AMC Network’s premium streamer for horror, thriller, and the supernatural, has inked a deal with horror drag icons The Boulet Brothers to expand their franchise with a new season, a new spinoff series and an additional special set to debut on Shudder over the next twelve months. The highly anticipated prequel to “Game of Thrones,” HBO’s “House of the Dragon,” is finally here, premiering this week and we couldn’t be more excited! Based on George R.R. Like many of you, I’ve been eagerly awaiting to see director Scott Derrickson’s new installment in terror, The Black Phone, which is now out On Demand, VOD, and streaming on Peacock. The Black Phone centers on “Finney Shaw, a shy but clever, bullied, 13-year-old boy abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. The movie stars Jamie Foxx as, Bud, a vampire hunter who works under the guise of a pool guy. Recently separated, Bud lives for his young daughter and the hope of getting back with his wife (Meagan Good). When his wife gives him an ultimatum to either come up with some cash or she and their daughter are moving to Florida, Bud goes into overdrive, killing as many vampires as he can to raise the money. Stephen King adaptations just keep coming (not that we are complaining). We’ve reported that several adaptations will be released over the upcoming year, including Finn, Salem’s Lot, and The Boogeyman. Today, news has come via Deadline that another King story, The Regulators, is being turned into a film. In the story, written under King’s pen name Richard Bachman,” Along a residential street in the suburban town of Wentworth, Ohio, a paperboy is suddenly shot by a mysterious stranger in a red van. The neighborhood’s panicked civilians run for shelter while author Johnny Marinville attempts to contact the police. However, an otherworldly force prevents the call from going through.” The film is coming from the Bohemia Group. As soon as we know more we’ll let you know.
