‘Martha Is Dead’ Film Is In The Works

Italian game studio LKA, UK publisher Wired Productions, and Swedish film-production company Studios Extraordinaires have announced today that they are teaming up to bring LKA’s first-person psychological thriller Martha is Dead into the cinematic universe. ’Martha Is Dead’ is a narrative masterpiece, expertly weaving a spellbinding murder mystery from a young woman’s perspective in a way that’s never been done before,” says André and Andreas at Studios Extraordinaires. “We’re eager to bring this haunting tale to life, offering both fans and newcomers a cinematic tour-de-force, while staying true to the game’s soul-stirring essence.” Martha is Dead takes place in Tuscany during the Second World War where players take on the role of a young woman named Giulia, who found her twin sister, Martha, drowned in a nearby lake. Game Review: ‘Anthology Of Fear’

OhDeer Studio and 100 GAMES are taking players on a psychological-horror ride with their first-person horror Anthology of Fear with their recent release on PlayStation consoles. I missed the game when it came out for Xbox but the devs were awesome enough to toss me a lifeline to check it out, so a big thanks to them for that! Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll like me much after this. Anthology of Fear takes players on a journey to discover what happened to Nathan by exploring the psyche of others and seeing the world through their perspectives. Now onto the game itself! Anthology of Fear‘s controls are hard to grasp as there’s no tutorial and the mechanics seem to change on a whim. When it comes to sound, it’s OK for the most part but it needs to be adjustable as music, sound effects, etc. are all on the same volume, which at times can be overwhelming. Graphics-wise, if you’re prone

Checking Out The Latest DLC From ‘World War Z: Aftermath’

In September 2021, I reviewed Saber Interactive’s video game adaptation of Paramount Picture’s zombie flick, World War Z. The game, World War Z: Aftermath, included new levels and characters for new and returning players to enjoy, and enjoy I did! Now Saber Interactive is back with a new DLC Valley of the Zeke and they were awesome enough to let me take a crack at it! Valley of the Zeke brings players to Arizona where a caravan of survivors is making their way to an Air Force base that will become a settlement for surviving humans. The DLC includes four new characters, and two new Zombie variants, first introducing the Jaugurnaught, a large fast-moving zombie that knocks survivors down by running into them. The other new zombie variants are zombie soldiers who may be difficult to kill as they are wearing body armor and helmets. A new weapon is also being introduced to the arsenal of zombie-killing goodness, the De50,

Game Review: ‘Evil Nun: The Broken Mask’

Nuns, brides of Christ who have sworn a holy oath to live a peaceful life bringing comfort to those who need it… unless they’re evil like Sister Madeline from Keplerians’ Evil Nun: The Broken Mask, a survival horror where players must outwit Sister Madeline and escape with their life from her summer camp. The game was quite popular on Mobile before being ported to consoles by Feardemic. With that, let’s take a look! In Evil Nun: The Broken Mask, players take on the role of a kid who is sent to Sister Madeline’s Catholic Summer Camp, but it’s quickly obvious that something is wrong. The “Camp” is in an abandoned school that’s seen better days, and Sister Madeline is armed with a sledgehammer and prays to Baphomet. Now it’s a game of cat and mouse to escape or die trying. Controls for Evil Nun: The Broken Mask is limited but could have been mapped better for controllers. The soundtrack and

Game Review: ‘Pinball M’

When you think of horror, the last thing that would come to mind would be, of all things, Pinball. Zen Studios, the game developer known for their pinball video games based on classic real-world arcade pinball games and digital machines based on popular TV shows and movies, have entered a new realm, Horror! This is Pinball M, a pinball game featuring some of the more grittier titles you would see for a pinball machine. I got a chance to get my hands on Pinball M and I’ll admit, I’m slightly getting addicted to this game. Pinball has always been a guilty pleasure of mine in arcades because it’s mindless fun, but now you mix in horror elements… now you’re speaking my language! The base game has one table featuring an original story/game called Wrath of the Elder Gods: Director’s Cut, a Lovecraftian pinball experience. The DLC is what will grab your attention with four tables featuring Dead by Daylight, Chucky’s

Game Review: ‘Turok 3: Shadows Of Oblivion Remastered’

Back in the day when N64 was king, I played the hell out of the first two Turok games, mainly the second one Seeds of Evil, but there was one that got away from me… Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion. That game was hard to find at the time for some reason and I was finally able to get a copy of it from a garage sale… but I never played it. That’s different now thanks to Nightdive Studios, who have continued their hard work to bring old N64 games to modern consoles! This is Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion Remastered. Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion Remastered follows after the events of Turok 2, where the life forms known only as Oblivion have come back for Turok and killed him, forcing his siblings Danielle and Joseph to take up the mantle of becoming the next Turok. Regarding the controls for Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion Remastered, FPS players should be
