Movie Review: Stung (2015)

Mrs. Perch (Eve Slantner), a wealthy woman with a green thumb, has been putting her special illegally imported fertilizer on her precious plants. She has no idea that the special fertilizer has been seeping into the ground and that a swarm of killer wasps have made their hive right in the path of the chemicals. The new generation of wasps are mutating into seven foot monsters. During a party for Mrs. Perch’s elite group of friends, suddenly the giant wasps appear and they’re on the war path. It’s up to Paul (Matt O’Leary) and Julia (Jessica Cook), two of the catering staff, Mrs. Perch’s son, played by Clifton Collins Jr. (Pacific Rim) and a local politician (Lance Henriksen) to save themselves from the giant mutant wasps. I wasn’t sure just what to expect from this creature feature that was directed by Benni Diez and written by Adam Aresty. I was pleasantly surprised. ‘Stung’ has that distinct feel, reminiscent of those

Photos From The Set Of Kong: Skull Island

‘Kong: Skull Island‘ is currently filming in Hawaii. Universal Studios and Legendary Pictures have stepped up with security on the set in an attempt to prevent any pictures from behind the sets getting out. You would think that might deter people from getting a peek at the set, but you would be wrong. Reel Tours Hawaii went above and beyond to capture photos and video, by helicopter. What they captured is very interesting, a giant skull, which may belong to the new, bigger, King Kong. ‘Kong: Skull Island‘ is set to be released on March 10, 2017. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the film follows a man (Hiddleston) who travels to a legendary island in search for his brother who was stranded while in search of a serum that is believed to be a cure all for any illness or disease. During the search the team must face the creatures on the island, including Kong, King of the Apes and dinosaurs,
