11 Bit Studios and Odd Meter, will be taking players on a journey through a parallel 19th-century Russia as an Orthodox Nun named INDIKA the title character in the upcoming 3rd-person narrative adventure. In INDIKA, players assume the role of the titular nun, Indika, embarking on a mind-bending journey to explore the duality of good and evil and the understanding that nothing is absolute. All You Need Is Death (Ireland, 2023) Writer/director Paul Duane’s Irish folk horror All You Need Is Death is a terrific slow burner that fairly drips with dread as it takes viewers on a ride to wholly unexpected places. Young couple Anna (Simone Collins) and Aleks (Charlie Maher) are musicians who surreptitiously collect rare, unrecorded folk songs to sell for a profit. No-nonsense Agnes (Catherine Siggins) is one of the people to whom they attempt to sell, and she is particularly interested in a song seemingly known only to reclusive, eccentric, elderly Rita Concannon (Olwen Fouéré). Rita agrees to sing the song to Anna and Agnes under certain strict conditions, and when one of those conditions is broken, the story begins to head into mind-boggling territory best left unspoiled. Game Review: ‘Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness’

When I think of 2D Pixle-art games, I remember the old DOS games I played as a kid. As a kid, they were spooky, but after growing up and seeing the evolution of graphics, I now look back at how lame they were. Unfortunately, I still hold this view. Can Indisruption and Blowfish Studios’ psychological horror Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness make me change my mind? In Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness, players play the role of Oliver “Lazy Ollie” Mills, a former circus clown. Ollie has been invited to Petrescu Manor along with some former circus performers, with the hope of revealing the haunting truth behind the tragedy that struck Vlad Circus eight years prior. Now, on to the game itself! When it comes to the controls, they are pretty easy to remember the layout once you learn them, I only wish there was a better tutorial system for it though. Gods of the Deep (U.K., 2023) Last year, prolific director Charlie Steeds’s Freeze played Portland’s H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, and this year his new film Gods of the Deep had its world premiere there. Steeds makes practically all manner of horror films, and his recent one-two punch of Lovecraftian horror is some of his strongest work yet. Gods of the Deep finds Jim Peters (Derek Nelson of Freeze) carrying on the research of his father, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Witness The Horrors Of ‘The Elderly’ On Friday The 13th (Trailer)

Over the past decade, several really terrific Spanish horror films have been released. This week, there’s one headed your way that looks creepy as hell, Raul Cerezo and Fernando Gonzalez Gomez’s horror The Elderly.
