Today news has come that two more names have been added to the guest list that already includes the previously announced stars Rebecca Ferguson and Ewan McGregor who will play adult Danny Torrence. Carl Lumby (Supergirl) has filled the role of Dick Halloran. Alex Essoe (Midnighters) is set to play Wendy Torrance, originally played by Shelley Duvall, Deadline reports. Ferguson plays “Rose The Hat, head of a cult that feeds on the “steam” created by young people who have a touch of the “shining.” It is an excruciating fatal process for the victims and Torrance finds himself in their crosshairs as he tries to help a young girl elude their grasp.” Flanagan rewrote Akiva Goldsman’s adaptation of King’s 2013 novel which picks up with Danny who is now in his 40s and struggling with the same demons his

A young gardener (Rett Terrell) and his family move into a new house and discover a box containing ashes and an ancient book…I’m sure this has zero to do with the ol’ timey prospectors that were murdered by one of their own who went absolutely kill crazy after swallowing some smoke in the cold open. Oh wait, it sure as shit does, and of course the bad luck (including what has to be the world’s shittiest broken leg gag in cinematic history after our prunin’ protagonist takes a lackadaisical tumble from a ladder) and supernatural shenanigans (vomiting blood, voices on the baby monitor, et. al.) begin plaguing our now housebound hero, who of course begins to experience an attitude change of the shitty variety, faster than you can say Amityville. See: Our hero hobble around his ramshackle home ad nauseam! See: The amazing acting of the next door neighbor that is so wooden that termites may devour him at any

Bruce Campbell, that’s a name every horror fan knows. The writer/actor/director/producer has been involved in so many iconic films and series. One of the jewels in his crown is The Evil Dead franchise in which he plays the unforgettable character Ashley “Ash” Williams. His “Ash vs Evil Dead” series premiered back in 2015 on Starz, giving us three seasons of Ash, along with his deadite fighting sidekicks Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) as well as the sometimes evil Ruby (Lucy Lawless). Fans were heartbroken to learn earlier this year that “Ash vs Evil Dead” wouldn’t return for a fourth season. Soon Bruce announced that Ash had been permanently retired, leaving fans to wonder what was next for the one-of-a-kind, suave, badass. When I had the opportunity to talk with Bruce I jumped at the chance (and with excitement) to find out what is next for our favorite leading man and ask a few questions that I’ve always wanted
