Today, Sony announced details of The Hellboy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring music by Golden Globe, Grammy, and BAFTA nominated composer Benjamin Wallfisch whose music has been featured in films such as It, Blade Runner:2049, and Hidden Figures. Available everywhere today, the album also features music from the highly anticipated film featuring the iconic Dark Horse Comics created character Hellboy. “Big Red” is back and this time we find the superhero (David Harbour, “Stranger Things”) in the English countryside battling a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, the Resident Evil franchise), an ancient sorceress, resurrected and hungry for revenge. Caught between the supernatural and the human world, Hellboy is hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world. Ian McShane (John Wick), Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0 and Lost), and Sasha Lane (American Honey) also star in this action-packed flick. The German metal group Rammstein, have released their first new single in 10 years, the song is simply titled, Deutschland (Germany). Along with the new single came its music video which Rammstein is known for having very cinematic videos but prior to the release, a teaser video was posted to Youtube by the band depicting the band’s keyboardist Flake Lorenz, lead singer Till Lindemann, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, and bassist Oliver Riedel with nooses around their necks standing under a makeshift gallows dressed in concentration camp uniforms. The teaser video along with the actual music video, directed by Specter Berlin, has come under fire by critics in Germany and elsewhere in the world for the use of Holocaust imagery. After watching the music video multiple times my history nerd side became intrigued. While many focused on the concentration camp imagery, they’re missing a bigger picture being painted. Demonic duo Johnny Unheimlich (comprised of Nick Ransom – vocals, guitar and lyrics, and Ben Hansen – bass) have strode forth from the abyss once more and have chosen to present their fiendish fans a new sonic ritual! To understand Johnny’s sinister sound; imagine a lone, leafless tree sitting under a steel grey sky while ghosts commune at it’s trunk…that kinda paints a picture of what you will get with these lads…real party music…sure it’s the Donner Party, but a party all the same! Spread out over nine tracks darker than a moonless midnight (with titles such as The Hypochondriac’s Lullaby, Scour Pads and Lye, and Agony and Atrophy ), Kintsugi grabs your very soul and takes it places it should never tread…and the journey will leave you mired in a fever dream so deviously dark you may never want to awaken. Capcom is teaming up with Laced Records to release the original soundtracks for Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, on vinyl! Fans of the games and collectors of records now have the opportunity to pre-order the soundtracks. Both soundtracks are composed by the Capcom Sound Team, Masami Ueda, Makoto Tomozawa and Akira Kaida. Both albums are remastered deluxe double-vinyl 180g LPs that you can either order in traditional black or special limited edition LPs that are in a marbled color. The Resident Evil soundtrack will consist of 44 songs from the 2002 Nintendo Game Cube version while the Resident Evil 2 records will have 31 songs from the original 1998 game. It should be noted that the images of the soundtracks are mock-ups and may look different at the time of release.

Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah and RZA, along with Shaun Redick of Impossible Dream Entertainment are set to produce the suspense horror thriller Angel of Dust, which RZA will direct. The film is inspired by true stories and events that happened to Wu-Tang members while growing up in the streets of Staten Island which helped shape the legendary group into the global music icons they have become. In the film, “Casey is a normal yet exceptionally smart teenager and talented rapper but after the mysterious death of his parents, he’s been forced to grow up in NY’s roughest inner-city streets (known as Shaolin in Wu-Tang folklore), basically on his own. As life in the hood around him gets tragically worse he must put his skills to the test to survive not only the gangs, corrupt cops, junkies and bullies, but a serial killer with seemingly supernatural powers dubbed Angel of Dust by the media.” The story comes from Ghostface Killah (Dennis Coles)

Sometimes gamers just want to take a break away from most games and want to exercise…their brains. Casual puzzle games have always been a great fallback for most but this game from indie game developer Sometimes You is not only eye-catching…its head scratching. I present to you, “Energy Cycle Edge”, a 3-D puzzle game that will be coming out December 5th for all consoles including PC. The objective of the game is to match all the cells on the playing field to the same color. That’s where the simplicity ends. Every time you click a cell to change its color, the whole row will change as well. That doesn’t sound bad? Look below, that’s level 1. This is level 44, the final level. Yes, like most puzzle games the levels become more complex and to add to it, the puzzles will become more three dimensional. You’ll have to rotate the puzzle in order to solve the level which I can

The only thing better than a great film is a great film with an incredible soundtrack. News has come that Lakeshore Entertainment is set to release the soundtrack for Blumhouse’s technology-driven horror film CAM as it premieres on Netflix. Directed by Daniel Goldhaber, the Oscar-winning producer of Get Out, comes the film set in the world of webcam porn. It follows Alice (Madeline Brewer), an ambitious camgirl, who wakes up one day to discover she’s been replaced on her show with an exact replica of herself. As this copy begins to push the boundaries of Alice’s internet identity, the control that Alice has over her life, and the men in it, vanishes. While she struggles to regain what she’s lost, she slowly finds herself drawn back to her show and to the mysterious person who has taken her place. With Halloween behind us, it’s now time to look forward to the Christmas-themed horror flicks coming our way. One of those films is John McPhail‘s zombie musical Anna and the Apocalypse. We’ve got a new clip that’s filled with enough blood to deck the halls with. In the film, “When a zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven, Anna and her high school pals must fight, sing and slash their way to survival. Teaming with her best friend John, Anna and her crew try to save family and faculty alike as they encounter zombified snowmen, a manic bachelor party, and teenage hormones. Recently Chance6 Studios released their psychological horror game “COLINA: Legacy” on Steam. The game follows a young man named Alex who woke up alone in his grandmother’s house and realizes that things are not right. The story calls back to survival horror games from the past and mixes it with escape room puzzles all the while facing the unknown. One thing can make or break a good movie or video game, the soundtrack. When you want the best for your music you go to the best to get it done, this is where Hexany Audio comes in. You may not know the name but you most likely heard their work. Hexany Audio has done sound design, music composition, and voice-over recordings for companies like Disney, Google, Apple, SONY, Nike, Ubisoft, and Activision just to name a few! “Dyin’ Tonight,” an original song performed by Robby Takac of Goo Goo Dolls fame for the upcoming horror film Johnny Gruesome (review) has been released by Funhouse Productions and is available for purchase on major music platforms ahead of the film’s October release. Takac co-wrote the song with Armand John Petri and Joe Rozler and recorded it at his GCR Studios in Buffalo, New York. Petri and Rozler also composed the score, and additional songs used in the film were created by Dean Italiano, Giasone Italiano, and Aprilann. The Italianos’ contributions were created for a rock CD, “Gruesome,” to promote the novel on which the film is based; that CD is available separately. In the film, “High school students Eric Carter and Johnny Grissom are best friends. Johnny is a heavy metal rebel nicknamed “Johnny Gruesome” by his classmates. When Johnny is murdered while on a drunken joyride, his killer persuades Eric and Johnny’s girlfriend to help him make the
