Dracula Party Unleash Their Debut Video “Trick or Treat”!

Remember when I gave you cats n’ creeps my wicked words regarding the new release from dark electronic wizards Dracula Party; The Devil Wears a Mask? Well, those arcane audio addicts have just released their first music video for the track “Trick or Treat” directed and edited by the band’s front-man Byron C. Miller (who helmed the fright flicks The Anatomy of Monsters and Night, as well as serving as writer and editor of the award winning short film, (in Here) I Am God). Miller had this to say regarding the creepy clip: “I wanted this to feel like a modern successor to the great 70s Giallo flms. I love working with saturated colors and surreal imagery to create nightmarish realities. It was great collaborating with the multi talented actress, Kay Whitney (Tall Men, Z Nation), who really dived into the lead role. Music Review: Dracula Party: The Devil Wears a Mask E.P. (2019)

I’ve been following Seattle Washington’s Darkwave shock rockers Ghosts in the Graveyard since the beginning, so when they went on hiatus I was worried I’d never get their brand of synths and scares again… Such was not the case however, as the leader o’ this gang o’ ghouls Byron C. Miller, announced he’d be creating more monstrous melodies under the name Dracula Party (along with Chris Longo) and I was pleased as putrid punch when he sent me the bands debut E.P. The Devil Wears a Mask for revoltin’ review! Featuring five tracks of arcane audio, four originals and one cover tune (Nine Inch Nails The Becoming if you are keeping score at home), this E.P. presents musical journeys into landscapes full of vampires, demented Halloween shenanigans, killer robots, and Clive Barker inspired magik respectively. Music Review: Dante Tomaselli’s Out-of-Body Experience (2019)

Maestro of the macabre, Dante Tomaselli, returns with another full on sensory experience designed to transport your consciousness beyond the veil of reality in the form of his latest CD release; Out of Body Experience. While most known as a diabolical director of nightmare inducing, surrealist fright flicks, Dante can put the terror tickle on the ol’ ivories as well…and the spell he weaves at his sinister synths is every bit as full of arcane ambiance as his monstrous motion pictures. While Tomaselli’s previous releases (Nightmare, The Doll, Scream in the Dark, and Witches respectively), Out of Body Experience has more of a melodic approach and tells a semi-autobiographical story of Tomaselli’s childhood (circa the years 1979 – 1982) in the video game saturated suburbia many of us called home in our youth. Refused To Provide Soundtrack For ‘Cyberpunk 2077’

The Swedish punk-rock band Refused will be taking on the role of the fictional band SAMURAI in the upcoming FPS that’s taking the world by storm, Cyberpunk 2077. CD PROJECT RED’s music director Marcin Przybyłowicz headed the project to compile an EP of SAMURAI’s greatest hits with tracks recorded that were inspired by the game as well as original tracks by Refused that were written exclusively for Cyberpunk 2077. It was an unexpected challenge that turned out to be right up our alley and really got us going. The songs turned out great and the game looks insane,” says Refused’s lead vocalist Dennis Lyxzén Fans of both Refused and Cyberpunk 2077 can download SAMURAI’s song “Chippin’ In” which was featured in the E3 trailer, on selected music stores and streaming services. Cyberpunk 2077 is available for pre-order for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One now and will be released April 16th, 2020.

I’m speaking of the sinister sounds of the new electronic outfit getting ready to rocket forth from the fog and rain choked graveyards of Seattle Washington…Audiorotic (comprised of members William Wilson and Michael Guillory)…and what a moonless midnight hued blackness that filled my soul as I listened to their demonic digital wizardry ! Want a taste my fiends, head here…I’ll wait for your return… I know you dug that the most…but if you need any further reason to follow these monstrous musicians, they have recorded their own version of David Bowie’s theme song to Paul Schrader’s 1982 remake of Cat People, and if that doesn’t sell ya on these dudes, nothin’ fucking will! Brightburn’s Timothy Williams Talks Music, Superheroes, And Much More In An Interview

While a film’s soundtrack may not be at the forefront of films, it should be. Music is the heartbeat of a film, controlling pace and emotion. Timothy Williams, a composer, has created many of those melodies heard in films such as Get Out, IT, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Deadpool 2. I sat down with Williams to talk about one of his most recent projects, creating the scores for James Gunn’s new film Brightburn, part superhero movie, part horror film. In the film, a couple (Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) adopt a baby from another world. They raise the boy (Jackson A. Dunn) to use his powers for good, but evil begins to grow within him. Written by James Gunn and Mark Gunn, Brightburn takes over theaters on May 24, 2019, from Sony Pictures. Bloody Horror Comedy ‘Deathgasm’ Getting A Sequel!

2015’s blood-soaked badass horror comedy Deathgasm pleased horror fans and metal lovers alike. After three years of silence, we’re getting a sequel from Jason Lei Howden! Earlier today Screen Daily confirmed that the sequel is indeed on its way. UK’s Grimmfest is launching a new production company titled Grimmfest Films and Deathgasm 2 is set to be one of the first projects on their slate. At the moment, nothing else has been revealed about the sequel, but Grimmfest runs from October 3rd through the 6th, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll get the first look and update then. Danzig Sinks His Teeth Into New Vampire Speghetti Western

Musician Glenn Danzig of Misfits has been staying between reunion shows and his new projects, a long-awaited album of Elvis Presley covers and a movie. That’s right Danzig is writing and directing his own film. Get this, it’s a “vampire Spaghetti Western”! A new post on Danzig’s official Facebook page today mentioned both projects. We know it’s a Spaghetti Western with Danzig in the director’s chair, and we know casting will soon begin. At this time that’s all that we know about the mysterious film. Don’t get his projects confused. Danzig’s vampire western is not the same project announced last year, an anthology based on his comic series Verotik.
