Not often do I get the chance to check out a game that I’m actually quite hesitant to play after seeing the trailer, but here we are folks. I want to give thanks to Feardemic Games and NC Studio for picking away at my facade of “Pft! I got this!” gaming attitude with Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward. Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward follows an individual who through science and the paranormal is sent into a dream with a psychic connection to a doll with evil energy attached to it that once belonged to Henrietta Kedward, a reclusive elderly woman whose life is shrouded in mystery as well as the paranormal implications surrounding her. While in this dream You will encounter an evil presence that’s well aware of your intrusion and will stop at nothing to kill you. Not onto the game itself! I can think of no job I would not want than being the one who has to operate and care for a cemetery. People dying to meet you, working the graveyard shift, having a bunch of working stiffs as coworkers, putting the fun back in funerals, noisy nights with all the coffins, playing formaldehyde and seek with corpses, dealing with grave issues, getting buried in the work, OK I’ll stop with the puns. Feardemic Today has announced that the long-awaited survival horror game Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward will finally be coming to Playstation and Xbox very soon! Players take on the role of a telepathically gifted patient that is taking part in Project Nightmares, a group of scientists who are studying the paranormal and have created a device where people like you are connected to suspected haunted or cursed objects through a dream-like state. You will play through the case of Henrietta Kedward. You’ll be able to connect with this malicious old woman through a malignant toy with a dark past and soon you’ll find yourself in a nightmare set during her lifetime, surrounded by terror and mystery. Players will have to solve puzzles, use minimal light sources to see through the dark and terrifying world that is procedurally generated, and will keep you on your toes even on multiple playthroughs. You’ve seen artists with posable wooden figures, they’re cool but are limited in their movement and expression. This can be hard for someone who wants to get into drawing their own comics, manga, and storyboards. Well, help is on the way in the form of Stickybones, a poseable mannequin for not just drawing, but animation as well! I want to give a big thank you to the awesome folks over at Stickybones for making this review possible by sending over Karl, well, that’s what I’m calling him now. “Who’s Karl?” you’re probably (not) asking. Karl is my Stickybone figure who came in Yellow and Black, not gonna lie, the colors are awesome, giving a crash test dummy/biohazard vibe! Karl came disassembled, DON’T PANIC (like I did), it’s actually quite easy to figure out which parts go where but if the instructions (that came with it) are confusing, Stickybones has an assembly video you can watch! Karl is 8.5 inches tall

Focus Entertainment, Auroch Digital, and Games Workshop today announced the release date for the love letter to retro-style FPS games based in the Warhammer universe, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. Along with the news comes a new trailer and pre-order options! Players take on the role of a Space Marine armed to the teeth and ready to charge through the forces of chaos in a pixilated bloodbath. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will launch on May 23, 2023, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the game is open for pre-order now on all platforms (except Nintendo Switch).

Stained Glass comes to life in Just For Games and Bonus Level Entertainment’s arcade game Saga of Sins where players take on the role of Cecil, a man who has returned to his home kingdom from the Crusades, only to find it plagued not only by the Black Death but by the seven deadly sins. I would like to thank Just For Games and Bonus Level Entertainment for allowing me to review this! The controls for Saga of Sins are OK and could use a better tutorial system, especially the option to look up the instructions in your options in the event you missed something. Another thing I did not like is that there’s no option to turn the vibration off for your controller, might not sound like much to some of you but if you’re someone who wants to prolong battery life in your controller, vibrations are notorious for draining batteries. If you’re like me, a true horror, then you probably love wearing items that promote your favorite movies. Dumbgood.com’s got everything you want and more. Recently I did a write-up about their Scream merch and decided to try it out myself. I have to say I’m impressed. I got the complete Ghostface “repeat mask” lounge set, a hat, and a bag. The shirt ($42) is cropped and has long sleeves. It runs a bit small, so I advise ordering up at least one size. It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing it while you are sitting around watching horror movies or if you pair it with jeans, it’s cute. The shorts, which run $52, are almost knee-length on me, but I’m short, five-foot even to be exact. I will say that they are super comfy! The material is soft after one wash, and the image on the fabric doesn’t fade. The hat is perfect, not too big and not too small.

Tindalos Interactive and Focus Entertainment announced the release date for Aliens: Dark Descent, the strategic, real-time, squad-based tactical action game in collaboration with 20th Century Studios that will take players into an original story set in the Alien universe. Along with the release date comes a new gameplay trailer showcasing what awaits players. In Aliens: Dark Descent players take on the role of a Colonial Marine Commander tasked with giving orders to your squad of Marines as you investigate what happened on the planet Lethe. Players will encounter threats both human and Xenomorph as they descend further and further into the colony of the planet. In 2005, dare I say, the gaming world changed as one of the biggest franchises, Resident Evil, took their iconic game in a new direction after three massive hit games. Resident Evil 4 took the fixed camera view and made it over-the-shoulder allowing players to see the world differently and feel like they’re in the middle of the terror along with the characters. The game also set the bar for the rest of the franchise and sparked a massive cult following full of memes that only those who’ve experienced the game would know.
