Games upcoming FPS survival horror Chernobylite has finally snagged a release date and will be coming out for PC players earlier this summer while Console players will have to wait for late summer to enter the dreaded Exclusion Zone. In Chernobylite players take on the role of a Stalker, someone fighting for survival in the Exclusion Zone of Chernobyl (that the Devs used 3D mapping of the real-life Exclusion Zone to make the game realistic as possible.). Players will have to survive the environment, other hostile stalkers, military personal, and supernatural creatures. Chenobylite has the following: Stealth, Survival, & Combat – Survival in the Zone is not easy, and each day brings new challenges as your comrades die and supplies diminish. Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios blew up E3 with the extended trailer for the FPS co-op Back 4 Blood showcasing the story, what horrors await players, and a sneak peek at the PVP “Swarm” mode where players are pitted against one another as they are switched from being humans OR zombies. Also announced today during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Back 4 Blood will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch on Oct. 12 via Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One Consoles, as well as Windows 10 PC. Ex Bloober Team members THE PARASITE have announced their first game they’re working on that brings a whole new look of the Slavic legend The Baba Yaga with her origin story in the game BLACKTAIL. In BLACKTAIL, players will be taken into an open-world first-person shooter where they take on the role of Yaga, a young woman cast out of her village for suspicion of witchcraft. Now armed with a bow and powers, she must journey through the world to find missing pieces of her past and unlock keys to her future. The game will also feature tough decision-making options for Yaga where her choices will lead her to become the guardian of the forest or down a twisted path of nightmares and become evil. The Player’s choices will also affect Yaga’s selection of abilities that will change based on her morality. BLACKTAIL will be released for Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Get ready to go back to the park and see life finding its way, Frontier Development today has announced that their park-building sim game Jurassic World: Evolution is getting a sequel. In Jurassic World Evolution 2, players again take on the role of running and maintaining their own Jurassic World park but this time they’re no longer on the Muertes Archipelago. Players can now have their parks in new biomes such as dense forests, and deserts as each biome will have its own unique challenges. The roster of dinos that players can create has been increased to more than 75 species including fan favorites from the “Jurassic Park/World” films and new highly requested ones such as flying and aquatic dinosaur species. Along with the trailer reveal came information about the game’s beta registration. Back 4 Blood Open Beta will begin with an Early Access portion from Aug. 5-9 for those who pre-order the game. Players can also register at Back4Blood.com/Beta for a chance to get into the Early Access portion. The Open Beta will continue from Aug. 12-16 and be available for all players. As part of their advertising Liquid Death released their “No Brainer,” part hat, part koozie that not only keeps your water cold but is also a hat that protects your brain from those pesky zombies. The Twitter page for Evil Dead: The Game has teased that tomorrow June 10th, the world will finally see the first gameplay footage of the upcoming multiplayer game by Saber Interactive. The footage will be released at Summer Game Fest. Evil Dead: The Game allows players to play as either Ash and his friends or as a demon trying to thwart the activities of Ash and company. The game will be done in the style of Dead by Daylight and Friday The 13th: The Game where one player is the antagonist while the others try to survive by completing tasks that will allow them to escape.
