The final chapter to “The Walking Dead” game series by Telltale Games will be coming August 10th where choices made by players will determine how the story’s main protagonist, Clementine’s chapter in “The Walking Dead” universe will end. Over time, fans of the game series watched, Clementine’s story evolve where she has become the symbol of what’s left of innocence in a world gone to hell, and watched her grow from a little girl who needed protection to a young woman who does the protecting. “Remothered: Tormented Fathers”, a survival horror video game that’s a throwback to classic interactive entertainment titles that define the genre. With the impending console release less than 24 hours away (July 25, 2018) the game and its hardworking developers received some (well deserved) recognition and praise from a legend in the horror gaming field. Chris Darril, creative director of “Remothered: Tormented Fathers” received a tweet from Keiichiro Toyama who praised the game. Toyama is the creator of critically acclaimed gaming horror phenomenon “Silent Hill”. To put it in perspective to some, this is the equivalent of Leonardo da Vinci saying the sketch you just drew was amazing, Dave Grohl liking a melody you were humming, or Alfred Hitchcock praising your two-minute long film project. Mobile game developer MetaArcade has announced four new levels to their horror game “Cthulhu Chronicles” based on the popular tabletop RPG game “Call of Cthulhu” by Chaosium. This week the first of these new levels, “The good professor” was released (July 17th). In the latest chapter, players have met their match as everything they’ve experienced in the story so far leads them to test their decision-making skills. Miskatonic University: releasing 11 AM PT on Tuesday, July 24 Players will have their questions answered as they study at the mysterious school and meet the unusual faculty. The first-person cosmic horror experience takes players to the mysterious island of Darkwater as private investigator Edward Pierce. The game not only is an RPG but it will have stealth mechanics as well that will affect the sanity of Pierce as well as players. The storyline of the game can be affected by the results of investigations as well by choices made by Pierce. Candyman, Candyman, Candyman…is getting a limited edition Blu-ray release! Arrow Video has announced a limited edition release in the UK of one of the best horror films of the 90’s, Candyman. The film, directed by Bernard Rose, has been restored, so the picture and sound will be better than ever. The Blu-ray also has some serious special features. Starring horror icon Tony Todd, the classic centers on “grad student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) who begins working on a thesis looking at urban legends, she encounters the tale of the Candyman – the vengeful spirit of a hook-handed slave, who, it is said, can be summoned by saying his name five times in the mirror. As her research leads her into the bowels of Chicago’s deprived housing projects and deeper into the Candyman’s world, Helen learns that some legends are best left alone…” Candyman will be unleashed on October 29, 2018, just in time for Halloween. Gearbox Publishing and Compulsion Games have released the latest trailer for their upcoming psychedelic dystopian twist about England in the 1960’s, “We Happy Few”. As mentioned in a previous article, there will be three playable characters and today new information is available about them! Many know about Arthur, a man who works for the news only allowing “happy” information to be printed. The next character has a connection to Arthur, Ollie, a former soldier who’s impatient and not quite fully there (mentally). And finally, we have Sally, a scientist, and socialite who can blend in and conform allowing her to sneak around. “We Happy Few” will be out August 10th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

ScreamWorks Records once again teams up with The Drift composer James Griffiths to present his latest finely tuned chiller score on the Screamworks label. The cool hardworking folks over at Darril Arts gave me the opportunity to play the Xbox One version of their awesome horror-stealth game ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ in a previous article I spoke of this. The game is out now on PC but will be out on PS4 and Xbox ONE July 25th. It’s been a while since a horror game actually spooked me! I would play the game, take a break from it and partially vow to never play again but the story drew me back in because I wanted to see what happens next! The story takes place in 1970’s Italy and follows a woman named Rosemary Reed who came to the mansion of Dr. Felton to ask about his health while in reality, her true intention is to find out what happened to his daughter Celeste who has gone missing years ago. After her investigation abruptly ends, she breaks into the mansion at night and quickly things get
