These ceramic skulls are made to withstand really hot temperatures in both a gas or wood-burning fireplaces or fire pits. Use them around Halloween or if you’re like me, use them all year around! The skulls do come in different colors but depending on how often you use them and in what way, soot can build up on them and discolor them. The developers at Quarter Circle Games will plunge players into a detective story like no other in The Peterson Case, a truly unique horror game set in 1947 Roswell, New Mexico. You are Franklyn Reinhardt, a detective, and you’re looking into the disappearance of the Peterson family. While investigating the house, Reinhardt discovers there is something else in the empty home. Players will have to solve puzzles that will help Reinhardt discover what happened to the Peterson family. The obvious element of the story is that The Peterson Case involves aliens, 1947 in Roswell ‘nough said, but it’s not the typical alien encounter type gameplay, it seems to be more cerebral. Reinhardt (from what can be seen in the trailer) is taken to different places or events in his life where it seems the extraterrestrials are pulling the strings. The Peterson Case will be out sometime in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Long train commute? Meeting that goes on forever? Just bored?! Well, Valve has figured out a solution to make those moments and other bearable. The geniuses behind the PC gaming giant have developed a free app for Android and iOS devices. The apps will allow those with Steam accounts to play any game from their game library on their devices provided that your PC is connected to a 5Ghz network or have it plugged in with an ethernet cable. The app will allow users to use Steam and MFI controllers (that may make it hard to play stealthily in a meeting.) Later on, Valve plans to allow users to stream movies and tv shows onto your devices through your Steam library. The app will be coming out the week of May 21st and will only work if you have an internet connection (like pretty much anything these days). Happy Gaming!

The first video game adaptation of the television series “The Walking Dead”, that seems to be more popular than the show itself, will be coming to an end. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series is an episodic interactive drama that takes place at the same time as the television series, some of the characters of the show have made appearances in one of the installments. The game’s art resembles a comic book style, paying homage to the Walking Dead comic book series that inspired the show. Players watch the story unravel and at times have to make decisions for the characters that at times will determine how the story will unfold. The final season of the Telltale series will again focus on Clementine, a girl who was the sidekick of the main protagonist of the first season Lee. Black Phillip was from, The Witch, the 2015 film that was either loved or hated by audiences (Me personally, I was disappointed in it). WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD! The story follows a Puritan family that left a “sinful” society to make a new homestead out in the wilderness. Undead Labs was credited with making the most realistic zombie survival game, State of Decay back in 2013. Now, fans of the game will be excited to know that State of Decay 2 is coming soon to Xbox One. The story takes place 18 months after the events of the first game; a young woman is taken into the ranks of other survivors who are building a community for survivors. Each character is playable and each has an important set of skills necessary to ensure the survival of the community. You can choose between solo or co-op (up to three players) campaigns in this third-person shooter in an open world environment where you must face both zombies and human enemies all the while trying to find supplies and friendly survivors for your community. The game will be out on May 22 on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

Ghost fans will be happy to hear that the three original Papas will be on Ghost’s new tour and VIPs will get to meet them…there’s only a catch…they’re dead. In the latest video put out by Ghost (see below) it shows the three original Papas (playing Uno) before being told that they’re being reinstated and will be going on tour and will be immortalized. Soon afterward you see on of the Nameless Ghouls come up behind Papa Emeritus III and jabbing a syringe in his neck. Next, there’s a sort of music video where you see the Papas being embalmed and dressed up, implying that the three Papas were euthanized to make way for the new frontman Cardinal Copia. It’s been implied in past videos that the three Papas were brothers, part of a “pure” bloodline in which Copia is not. Players will take on the role of a sailor and see life onboard a doomed sub from his perspective. The game will be heavily story driven but the gameplay is still a factor. You will witness firsthand the tragic events of the Kursk submarine disaster that claimed the lives of all 118 men onboard the sub. On August 12, 2000, the Russian submarine, the Kursk, was in the middle of a training exercise. The sub was in the process of loading and firing a dummy torpedo at a flagship, at the moment the sub was to fire the torpedo, a Norwegian seismic center picked up a seismic event of 1.5 on the Richter scale. The fourth issue of the six-part comic series Pacific Rim Aftermath by Legendary Comics is now available online and in stores. The comic series takes place after the events of the first Pacific Rim film and is the official prequel to the movie’s sequel starring John Boyega. The series focuses on the criminal underworld born out of the rubble of Santa Monica after the first Kaiju war where the giant fighting robots known as Jaegers are used as mob muscle. The series follows a former Jaeger pilot turned mob enforcer, Griffin, and Jake Pentecost (John Boyega’s character). In the latest issue, Griffin learns more about a cult of Kaiju worshipers as new threats are beginning to make their presence known in the slums of Santa Monica. The gritty adventure continues as the series’ end approaches who will come out on top?
