We reported back in August that a movie, based on Disney’s Tower of Terror ride, was in the works. Now Disney is moving forward and looking to hire a screen writer for the project, according to Deadline. John August and Jim Whitiker will be producing the film that revolves around five people in a hotel elevator that disappears after it struck by lightening. ‘ The Tower of Terror’, originally based an episode of ‘The Twilight Zone’, is getting it’s own film. This is not the first time the subject has come up at Disney headquarters. A movie has been discussed in the past, but was dropped until screenwriter John August, who has worked with Tim Burton several times in the past, pitched the idea again to Disney and they said yes.

Happy Halloween everyone! One of my favorite holidays personally. Free candy, awesome costumes and marathons of horror movies and games. This entire month I’ve been playing horror games non-stop and I’m going to review the 4 games I played. I was gonna review “Alien: Isolation” this week but since the sequel was just announced so I’m gonna review 2013’s surprise hit “Outlast”. “Outlast” was released to PC in 2013 and came out to great success both financially and critically, even getting better reviews then its competition “Amnesia”. Do to “Outlast”s success Canadian developer Red Barrels ported it to new-gen consoles bringing “Outlast” to a whole new audience and making it a mainstay series. So what is “Outlast” about? In “Outlast” you play as Miles Upshur, a freelance photojournalist who was tipped off by a whistle blower about radical experiments being performed on the mental patients at “Mount Massive Asylum” in Colorado and the world must know what is happening. Miles

One of the scariest games of all time is getting a sequel! Although it was teased last year it wasn’t until this morning where Canadian game developer Red Barrels confirmed that they are making a sequel to their successful survivor horror game “Outlast” nicely titled “Outlast 2”. Not much information has been released other then that this game will deal with the fallout of the events of the first game and that the night vision camera will return. “Outlast” was a first person survival horror game that had you playing a photojournalist tipped off by an unnamed source that very “evil” things are happening at an asylum up in Colorado. Once you arrive there you discover something far beyond evil is happening and now you must run and hide for your life and escape the horrors of the asylum. I’m going to be writing a review for the game tomorrow so if you are interested in “Outlast” definitely check back

The season five premiere of NBC’s ‘Grimm’ is TONIGHT, thankfully, and the season is going to be insane! Nick (David Giuntoli) has had a long journey since he discovered he was a Grimm, someone who can see the wesen that hide in plain site, since he learned who he could really count on and fell in love, only to loose it all. Last season was filled with so many twists and turns. In the season finale, the show lost one of it’s main characters, Juliette (the love interest of Nick, played by Bitsie Tulloch). Nick’s protege Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) was snatched by Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and her team in the final moments of the finale, adding to the chaos. In season five Nick will take a dark turn, putting him at odds with his partner and his friends. Who could blame him? ‘District 9’ director Neill Blomkamp announced last night via Twitter that his untitled ‘Alien 5’ sequel has been put on hold indefinitely. Which isn’t all that surprising, the film seemed to have struggled since it was first announced. The film, meant to be the sequel to ‘Alien’ and ‘Aliens’ will remain in limbo until at least 2017, while Blomkamp moves onto other projects. This means that his film will not be shot until after Ridley Scott’s new sequel to ‘Aliens’ is released. Scott is now prepping to shoot his sequel ‘Aliens: Paradise Lost‘ in January of 2016. It is a shame that Blomkamp’s film has been stalled, the concept art that has released looks amazing. In the mean time Blomkamp will be serving as producer for the upcoming film ‘The Leviathan’, among other projects. ‘The Leviathan’, directed by Ruairi Robinson, is set in the not so distant future, in a world where mankind has harnessed the power of faster than
