I recently had the chance to speak with ‘Albino Farm’ actress Bianca Allaine Barnett. The lovely lady and I had an interesting conversation that I would like to share with you. KM “What made you want to become an actress?” BB “I’m a huge fan of movies, especially independent and art films. I loved the idea of “movie magic” and wanted to learn how to be a part of visual storytelling, so I pursued an acting career.” KM “How did you start in entertainment?” BB “I started by modeling and then I had small roles in films. I also worked a bit as a background actor, but now I am working on the educational portion of my craft and studying acting.” KM “Your first major role was in he 2007 movie “The Devil’s Muse”, can you tell us a little about your role in the movie?” BB “I had the opportunity to do some improv during the scenes, which was

Review: The Infected: Jim’s First Day by Joseph ‘Zombie’ Zuko On a day like any other, Jim Blackmore finds himself at ground zero of the zombie apocalypse. He is forced to run a blood-soaked gauntlet through a city overrun by an insurmountable horde of the dead in a desperate attempt to reach his wife and two small children. As he fights to get home he discovers that the living are just as dangerous as the dead. But does Jim have the strength of will to survive the perilous journey? After reading over two dozen zombie books, comics, and short stories for you lovely readers of Zombie Apocalypse Defense Force and for my own amusement, I’ve begun to get a solid feel for whether or not the author of any given zombie book has been a long time zombie fan or if they have simply jumped on the bandwagon to sneak a taste of a popular horror niche’s appeal. (I have

Hello fellow zombie apocalypse survivor wannabes, this is my first time providing content for the ZADF. I was recently contacted by a friend and asked if I would like to do the occasional review of foreign horror films for this site. Since the only thing I like better than sharing my opinion, is sharing my opinion over the internet (significantly less face-punching this way). I readily agreed. Only one problem. What would I review? You see, for my first outing I wasn’t assigned a specific film. It was left up to me to choose one. Being that the site is called Zombie Apocalypse Defense Force, I decided that my first review should definitely be a zombie movie. So, I started browsing Netflix for a selection. Oddly enough, Netflix had a recommendation all lined up for me. Due to my past viewing preferences, it seemed to think I would enjoy a Japanese “horror” film called Lust of The Dead. Apparently, if

Marty’s just a regular kid. He’s into horror movies, he’s writing a graphic novel with his best friend and his favorite hang out is an abandoned haunted house. Oh, and his big brother, Steve (Ethan Philbeck) is a gas mask wearing serial killer, who keeps heads in a bowling bag in his closet. Their parents, played by Phyllis Munro and Louie Lawless, are clueless as to what’s going on in their own house. When Marty (Gavin Brown) gets beaten up at school, Steve decides to take care of the bully his way. Marty’s world is about to change forever. Along with Todd Rigney, the author of the 2004 novel by the same name, Scott Schirmer co-wrote the script and directed ‘Found’. Let me get this out of the way, I do NOT condone the racist subject matter in ‘Found’ in any way. That being said, the movie has some good aspects. The story between the two brothers was touching, in

A team, sent by the Vatican, arrives in a small town to authenticate, or dispel, the supernatural activity claims of a church. As the three men begin their investigation into the events things quickly go from bad to worse. What the team discovers is bigger than they could ever have imagined. ‘Final Prayer’ stars Gordon Kennedy (Red Faction:Origins) as Deacon, the veteran investigator. Aiden McArdle (Me and Orson Welles) plays Mark, the new tech guy. Father Gray, the priest in charge, is played by Robin Hill (Kill List). ‘Final Prayer’ was written and directed Elliot Goldner. ‘Final Prayer’ accomplished what most movies can’t, spooking me. The movie was well executed, the effects were simple yet effective and the twist at the end is something we haven’t seen before. ‘Final Prayer’ was surprising, which is rare these days. I actually caught my self hiding my face behind my dog a time or two. I haven’t experienced that feeling in a long

If you want to explore the hospital’s grounds head to Danvers, Massachusetts and find 450 Maple Street. Palisades High School, where ‘Carrie’ demolished a gym and massacred everyone at the prom. Some people see graffiti as nothing more than low brow, illegal, acts of vandalism on the walls of buildings, however there are many who see it as form of self expression. I belong to the later, I see graffiti as works of art. There are few graffiti artists as good as the artist simply known as JPS. When walking the streets of the U.K., you are likely to come across one of JPS’ masterpieces. His pieces frequently include figures from horror movies, while others contain humor and puns and musicians, such as Eminem and Notorious B.I.G. or cartoons. His canvas ranges from walls, rocks, signs, pretty much anything he can paint. JPS also now sells small pieces on Ebay. JPS is quoted as saying “…just trying to leave my mark on the world” and man has he ever. He’s earned quite a following. His artwork is even showing up in the background of commercials, like the one in the commercial
