Many of you recognize the name Linda Blair because of her role in the 1973 horror classic ‘The Exorcist’. No one can deny that, even as such a young girl, Linda Blair played the role of the decade. I still can’t watch ‘The Exorcist’ alone at night. That movie is so intense and brilliant and her role as Regan was just incredible. Though Mrs. Blair has had a long history in film and been in many movies, 71 of them to be exact, her role as Regan will forever give her a place in the horror history. Mrs. Blair is still involved in entertainment, but her heart is in her charity ‘Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation’. Mrs. Blair actively speaks out on animal welfare as well as actively helping to find the dogs a forever home, which makes me respect her even more. Linda Blair we salute you ! ‘The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation’ https://www.lindablairworldheart.org/

In 1960 Janet Leigh starred as Marion Crane in the original ‘Psycho’, the story of a woman who stole $40,000 from her employer. While fleeing she stumbled onto a road side motel, where she decided to stop. She did not know at the time that the man who owns the motel, Norman Bates, is psycho. ‘Unfriended’, A Horror Movie About Social Media

The new horror movie ‘Unfriended’ tells the story of Laura Barns, the most popular girl in school, who got drunk and passed out at a party. One of the girls friends captured the entire night on video. Afterwards the friend uploaded the video on FaceBook, and Laura gets repeatedly ridiculed on the site, until she commits suicide. After her death, six of her friends gather on a Skype session to talk on the anniversary of Laura’s death, but suddenly Laura’s account is logged into by an unseen entity. The McCoubrey Brothers’ Short Film ‘The Grey Matter’ (2014)

Today I stumbled across the short film titled ‘The Grey Matter’, the best way I can describe it is strange , but very cool and extremely well done. Pete McCoubrey wrote the screenplay and he and his brother Luke McCoubrey directed the film together. The McCoubrey brothers have been involved with movies such as ‘An American Werewolf in London’ and ‘Return of the Living Dead’. ‘The Grey Matter’ stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the soft spoken Simon Peterson.
