We’ve got the trailer and a new exclusive clip from Filip Jan Rymsza‘s entomophobia-inducing Shudder Original Mosquito State ahead of its August premiere. Set in August 2007, we see “a man isolated in his austere penthouse overlooking Central Park, obsessive Wall Street data analyst Richard Boca (Beau Knapp) sees ominous patterns: His computer models are behaving erratically, as are the swarms of mosquitos breeding in his apartment, an infestation that attends his psychological meltdown. On Wall Street, they’re called “quants”—the intense data analysts whose mathematical prowess can make the difference between a fortune and a flop. Consumed with his work, Richard doesn’t often stray from his office or apartment. “Stranger Things: Season Four” Is Finally On Its Way

It’s been several years now since we’ve seen our favorite kids in Hawkins, Indiana, and producer Shawn Levy is very aware that “Stranger Things” fans are getting very impatient after waiting for what feels like forever for the hit series’ fourth season. To state the incredibly obvious, it’s been way, way, way, way too long, and it’s coming,” said Levy about the upcoming season. The good news is, we won’t have to wait much longer, the new season has now finished filming. I shot in Lithuania right before the pandemic. We have filmed in Georgia, Lithuania, and New Mexico, so suffice to say Season 4 is sprawling. It’s visually and narratively very ambitious, much more ambitious than the prior three seasons — The delay is due in large measure to COVID and the pace at which we have to work to do so safely, but it also happens to be the season that we chose to go much bigger. It’s

J.P. Smith Slow Burns in Horror Novel ‘The Summoning’ – Book Review

Plot The plot in J.P. Smith’s novel The Summoning is great, but be warned that it is not easy or simple. It is full of twists, turns, surprises, and there of a definitely emotional, mental and spiritual weight to the novel. This is one of those powerful stories that will take its toll on you. The issues that are in this plot, wrapped in mystics and fraud, deal with the depth of the real emotions of loss and grief. There is so much in this plot that I don’t know how Smith organized and controlled it, but he does, and masterfully so. While reading it, I lost track of the twists and how they were used. Too often twists are used simply for shock value or just for the sake of having a twist, but, Smith uses them strategically to keep the audience (and characters) guessing. The turns in The Summoning progress the story and keep everything moving in the
