Russian superhero film ‘Zashchitniki’ or ‘Guardians’ in English, has released its full length trailer and it is INSANE! Directed by Sarik Andreasyan and written by Andrey Gavrilov, ‘Guardians’ is a film I think we are all are going to want to see. I should mention that one of the heroes is a werebear. Yes, a werebear!
The film, set during the Cold War, an organization called “Patriot” created a superhero squad that includes members of multiple soviet republics. For years, the heroes had to hide their identities, but in hard times they must show themselves again.
Valeriya Shkirando, Anton Pampushnyy, Alina Lanina, Sanzhar Madiyev and Sebastien Sisak co-star. The film was executive produced by Lenny Levi, Maksim Oleynikov and Daniel Shapovalov.
You just have to watch the trailer. ‘Guardians’ will open in theaters in Russia in 2017. The moment a U.S. release date is announced we will let you know.
