We reported earlier in January that ‘Tremors VI’ was set to begin filming. It has now begun. Earlier today Michael Gross, who stars as graboid hunter/gun enthusiast Burt Gummer, shaved his head and trimmed his mustache, a tradition he has performed before each of the ‘Tremors’ movies filmed its first scene.
Jamie Kennedy, who co-starred as Burt’s son in ‘Tremors V: Blood Lines’, will be returning along with director Don Michael Paul for ‘Tremors VI’ which will be filming in Cape Town, South Africa.

So far, only two other cast members have officially been announced, Tanya van Graan (Death Race: Inferno) and Greg Kriek (Blood and Glory). One interesting thing about the movie is that while Kevin Bacon starred in the original film and will be headlining the ‘Tremors’ television series, he will not be appearing in ‘Tremors VI’.
Hopefully the plot will be announced soon. We will keep you posted as more details are revealed.
