The first trailer for the new horror movie ‘The Final Girls’ (not to be confused with ‘Final Girl’ starring Abigail Breslin), has landed. The movie stars Taissa Fariga (American Horror Story Hotel), Adam DeVine (Workaholics), Thomas Middleditch (The Wolf of Wall Street), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) , Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Angela Trimbur (Halloween II), Chloe Bridges (The Carrie Diaries) and ‘Vikings’ badass Alexander Ludwig. ‘The Final Girls’ was directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson.
Max (Farmiga) and her friends are attending a showing of ‘Camp Blood’, a ’80s cult horror film that starred Max’s late mother (Malin Akeraman), when they are sucked into the movie. They are now trapped inside the movie. They must team up with the movies horny, idiot camp counselors to fight the movie’s machete toting killer, Billy Murphy. When Max is finally face to face with her lost mother she not only has the chance to talk to her, but also save her. Together they must find away to escape before Billy kills them all.
This fun slasher film will arrive in theaters on October 9th.
